SPY REPORT
It is I, Novgorodny Vir, Spymaster of Spymasters. Look on my work, ye mighty,
and despair! The boys at ORCISH IDIOMS left the arena dejected, after being kicked
out of the top spot by YAKUZA. Good show! X-FORCE after a sorry 2-3-0 might want to
consider abandoning the sands and taking up singing the 'Can't fight no more' blues!
What's a move up by 4 you ask? (alright, maybe you didn't ask) Cause for
celebration, according to LA PENTARCHIE. Good things come to those who fight well,
as SMITHSONIAN can attest, moving up by 1. Practice pays for HOLGA KOBB, who
pummelled SUNFIRE, to pocket 30 points. Win some, lose some. Speaking of which, ME
CHEAT U LOSE was winsome, after beating V.BALTIMORE-'W.BALT and seeing him lose 13
points. INOCHI successfully staved off a grab for the roses by HELEN OF TROY of
SMITHSONIAN. Does ARKERS have no one talented enough to dethrone her? Word has it
one team in ARKERS is using psychics to predict wins. They lead a charmed life!
And how sociable are ARKERS' warriors? Come, let us see. Like a horde of
jackals fleeing from the lion, so did the "warriors" in ARKERS avoid SMITHSONIAN. As
a woman of good breeding scorns the "warriors" of LA PENTARCHIE, so did that sorry
team shy from SMITHSONIAN Everyone is famous for fifteen minutes, and DART is it
right now. Most challenged warrior. Isn't X-FORCE proud!
The moving sword slashes, and having slashed, moves on... HOLGA KOBB of MIDDLE
WAY 11 spared SUNFIRE (6-5-0) from having to lose any more fights. What's your next
plan, X-FORCE? Nothing is certain except death and more death in these bloody
arenas. SUNFIRE of X-FORCE met his fate at the hands of HOLGA KOBB. Never one to
advocate diplomacy and restraint, I was pleased to see ENTENTER retaliate against
ASSASSIN NATION in bloodfeud! Questions are being raised about the disposing of
severed body parts in the arena. A certain tavern in ARKERS would I avoid!
Do not think spyreporting in ARKERS is the highlight of my life. As if buffeted
by forces of nature beyond my control, I must take my leave of this place. Can

A few notes about e-mailed personals:
You may submit personal ads, columns, spotlights, etc. electronically, either via e-
mail to ads at reality dot com (which doesn't need any more spam, thank you) or on
the web at http://www.reality.com/duel2/modules.php?name=Ads. When you submit
something, you should get back a receipt from HAL at RSI. If you do NOT get a
receipt, your ads may have gone astray (not all e-mail makes it to its destination
any more than all snail mail does). If you DO get a receipt, it should, in the body
of the message, tell you what arena your stuff was filed in. Check your receipt to
make sure your submission made it to the intended destination. Also check to see
that everything you sent made it to the same place. Sometimes HAL, who is rather
simple-minded in some ways, will send half your stuff to another arena if the name
or number of that arena shows up at the beginning of a line. So if the word Ti
appears at the beginning of a line halfway through your ads, all the ads after that
may end up in Ti, which is closed and doesn't need ads. As a side note, sometimes
things move slowly, so don't wait until the last minute to send your ads and all.
If they get held up along the way, they may not show up until next turn. Happy
