Notes from the arena champ.
Well, that was unexpected! I was getting ready to bloodfeud Destroyer Tadd
after he killed the good Cyclonizer... Anyway, having to face Ria the Caresser and
winning in 1 min is still a great twist! So in many ways I am proud to be here,
sitting on the throne with my invite in hand for the Isle! Now, Destroyer Tadd, here
I am again, coming to defeat you and avenge my comrade before I leave...

SPY REPORT
If you were disturbed from your beauty rest only to have to watch a bunch of
ARKERS brutes like you, you'd be grouchy, too. Later days, BORN LOSERS, since
SMITHSONIAN took top team from you this turn, you guys are old news. Now keep the
taverns open late tonight, for there are sorrows to drown for STEEL PROPHETS, whose
0-2-0 this turn dropped them by 8 into 13th. Ha! HOYT FOUNDATION turned their 2-3-1
turn into a 6th place rank in the listings this turn. Any better than this, and you
get put on hit lists. Gee, I'm impressed, a 3-0-0 is nice, but don't get cocky,
WEIRD ALCHEMY, the Fates teach humility, and the Fates are proud. Of course, we're
all terribly impressed to see K. CARSON win a fight and gain 66 points, terribly.
Tsk, tsk, OUT OF SOAP beat ZINC and ZINC lost 15 points. You're breakin' my heart.
Looks like ARKERS has some guts at least, HYPPOMATOS the Duelmaster was this turn's
most-challenged warrior. HYPPOMATOS Bloodfeuded DESTROYER TADD for ARKERS' Title
this turn, and guess what happened? And if variety is the spice of life, ARKERS may
be getting bland, as HYPPOMATOS stays top dog in the city. I'm not in a very good
mood today, but why am I telling you this? You want to know what's new, don't you,
ARKERS?
Well, let's take a look at some more misdeeds of you miserable sword-boys.
SMITHSONIAN, I suppose you'll be glad to know you were this turn's most avoided team.
Care to know who is the most afraid of you? And who led the way in this mass act of
cowardice? Let's see, well, whatcha know? It was GHOSTWALKERS 2. Ha ha ha ha!
Looks like time for laurels or hemlock, DEMON TALON was challenged by DOOM, who was
ranked 30 points below him. And The Dripping Blade has banned DEMON TALON from
service until next turn for losing to DOOM and giving him 22 points in the process!
Ha! I guess I can give a little credit to PARIS TROUT of HOYT FOUNDATION for
challenging up by 24 to ZOO. PARIS TROUT lost to get 30 points of recognition.
Some people like volunteer work in the hospitals. I volunteer for ARKERS'
morgue. More variety. And sending DON'T TREAD ON ME to the Dark Arena was supposed
to be one of your better ideas, SMITHSONIAN? Not that I'll be buying the drinks, but
I'll be glad to see HYPPOMATOS and WEIRD ALCHEMY at The Dripping Blade tonight
celebrating their bloodfeud victory over DESTROYER TADD. Honor is like a chainmail
shirt, it only shines through use. Certain nameless cowards will doubtless rebuke me
on this one.
There's got to be a better place in ARKERS to get a drink than The Dripping
Blade! Any suggestions? Well, I've had enough of this drivel, and I'm sure you have
too. Off like a dirty shirt of padded leather. Glad to see the back of this place--
