Notes from the arena champ.
I love gold! I love being Duelmaster! I worked hard to get here. Now I need more arena
fights and one more win to get OUTTA HERE. I need to make a gold rush for The Isle. It
is cool being a big kahuna here in the DM levels, but I want to be golden in THE BIG
TIME. I want it all. Lotsa, lotsa gold. Thanks to everyone who helped get me here.

SPY REPORT
Hail and well met warriors of ARKERS! Know me for who I am, Zontani Sharp Eyes,
Spymaster extraordinaire of all Alastari. Former top team THE CHOSEN was unseated
this week as BLOODY HAND CLAN moved up from 4th ranking to take the top spot with a
5-0-1 record for the round. Warriors--remember that glory waits always around the
corner! Witness how this week BLOODY HAND CLAN went 5-0-1 to move up 3 in the
rankings. ALBUS BONERATTLER caught the eye of many in the gladiatorial commission as
he skillfully bested HODGE PODGE and was awarded 26 points in recognition. In one of
the week's more notable duels, GORGRUB WAALUG put down ZEBRA, causing him to lose 9
points of recognition in the process. The city has turned out in honor of 'ACKY GIT,
for with his arena victory he may now lay claim to the highest position in the city!
Would you believe that over half of the old women in ARKERS seem to feel that they
could fight better than you gladiators?
But come now, let us look deeper into the maze of contention and crossed blades
that is city ARKERS. I saw one fighter that warriors avoided when this week's
challenge seeking began. HOYT FOUNDATION is feared. This much I can say. Methinks
more than a few here could name the guild it was that spent the better part of last
week avoiding HOYT FOUNDATION. Indeed it was BLOODY HAND CLAN. Mighty fighters
cannot but expect competition from those below. PIP SQUEAK take warning! You have
more than a few enemies in ARKERS. A match that raised a few eyebrows at the games
this week, it seems that ZOMBIE posted a challenge against the more highly recognized
EIGER THE HARDY. The results, you ask? Well, the firebrand ZOMBIE was overcame by
EIGER THE HARDY. Remember warriors, this is the discipline of steel.
Is not Death a warrior's foremost adviser? Warriors, may this counselor stand
ready at your right hand forever! The warrior's path is harsh. For mediocrity there
is but one reward--death. This past week HODGE PODGE, at 8-7-0, departed ARKERS
forever. My condolences to Z GLADIATORZ for their loss of a very promising warrior,
ZILCH. ZILCH went to doom before the arms of HAL THE CRAZED, a warrior of THE
CHOSEN. Fate is a fickle mistress. She showers the miserable with fortune but sets
enemies against the victorious. Remember this!
If it were not for my skills as a spy I would have been mugged three times
already in ARKERS. Nice atmosphere you have here! Sadly warriors, now longer can I
keep thy company nor savor the ale of thy fine city. Depart I must and soon! Till

SUMMER FACE-TO-FACE IN TAMPA, FLORIDA
We have planned our summer FTF for July 19-21, 2019, in Tampa, Florida. It will be
held at the Embassy Suites Tampa Airport Westshore. Room rates are $125 per night,
1-2 occupancy. There's free wireless throughout the property as well as a fitness
center, outdoor pool, and business center, as well as a resturant and bar inside the
hotel. They have the usual Embassy Suites amenities we know and love: complimetary
cooked-to-order breakfast and evening reception, plus there's a free airport shuttle
and parking is only $4/day. The rooms are blocked -- ask for the Reality Simulations
block (RSS). Reservations must be made by 6/20.
