Notes from the arena champ.
I consider it an act of true philanthropy for me to give Shamahamadi his first
regular-arena loss. Every gladiator should have one. It comes under the heading of
"dues."
Oh, heck, I just saw at the end that I killed him. That was not my intention. He
added a certain something...a warm body, at the least, to our arena.

Well, what are you looking at, ZUKAL? Ain't you never seen Snide Clemens
before? Ah, shaddup and listen to my news. Later days, PHILANTHROPISTS II, since
BLUE MOON took top team from you this turn, you guys are old news. Of course, we're
all terribly impressed to see BLUE BLOTTO win a fight and gain 18 points, terribly.
Tsk, tsk, ZULOR beat MAINE COON and MAINE COON lost 15 points. You're breakin' my
heart. And it's out with the old, in with the new, as CAT-FU takes the Title and
last week's bar tab from the old Duelmaster. Heh, heh. I'm not in a very good mood
today, but why am I telling you this? You want to know what's new, don't you, ZUKAL?
Well, let's take a look at some more misdeeds of you miserable sword-boys.
Some people like volunteer work in the hospitals. I volunteer for ZUKAL's
morgue. More variety. Honor is like a chainmail shirt, it only shines through use.
Certain nameless cowards will doubtless rebuke me on this one.
There's got to be a better place in ZUKAL to get a drink than The Blue Boar Inn!

In response to the Desolate Empire's declaration of war, the Vendetta Cartel offers
the following response:
The members of the Vendetta Cartel can be found in 1, 8, 9, 10, 11, 14, 22, 25, 28,
31, 39, 45, 47, 50, 52, 54, 59, 60, 100, and 106. Stop yapping in the all-arena ads,
pick an arena, issue a challenge, actually win something, and then maybe (and we
stress maybe) you may speak. You may come to our home arenas (8, 31, and 47) and
confront us, but we suggest you learn to win in your own "home" arena (52) first.
