SPY REPORT
Hail and well met warriors of ZUKAL! Know me for who I am, Zontani Sharp Eyes,
Spymaster extraordinaire of all Alastari. Former top team ARENA FELINES was unseated
this week as DARK WARDS moved up from 2nd ranking to take the top spot with a 4-0-0
record for the round. SILVER BULLET caught the eye of many in the gladiatorial
commission as he skillfully bested BLUETTE and was awarded 15 points in recognition.
In one of the week's more notable duels, SILVER BULLET put down BLUETTE, causing her
to lose 5 points of recognition in the process. Due to his absence and inability to
defend the throne, ME-OUCH has lost the title of Duelmaster. This time victory fell
to the grasp of the usurper. All hail BRUJAH, Duelmaster of ZUKAL! Informants
"close" to the city champion have told me that he never fights without pantyhose on
beneath his armor. Watch out!
Many and various are the arts of battle. In ZUKAL "art" is a word that has long
since passed from the language! ZUKAL, city of gladiators! Mighty among the names
of thy guilds is THE MONGOLOIDS, a guild shunned and avoided by many in the weekly
duels. If you didn't look down dark alleys you'd have been hard pressed to find any
of DARK WARDS last week. Busy avoiding THE MONGOLOIDS? Mighty fighters cannot but
expect competition from those below. DENTINE take warning! You have more than a few
enemies in ZUKAL. I can not but mention with disdain the name of VENTRIIE who this
week posted a challenge to a warrior a full 8 points below in the rankings. I
thought VENTRIIE showed great skill and promise when he subdued BLU JON. All right,
so I slept through it! Big deal!
Vendettas. Bloodied blades and broken spears. Indeed the city has seen more
than its fair share of red in recent times. Fate is a fickle mistress. She showers
the miserable with fortune but sets enemies against the victorious. Remember this!
The girls are as pretty in ZUKAL as ever I remembered them....and the fighters
as ugly! Don't let your reputation slip! More than a sharp eye must I keep, indeed
a stout pair of legs must I keep as well! The endless paths of Alastari await me!
