SPY REPORT
It's me, The Unknown Spymaster here with my bag to give you the news on last
week's fights. Say good-bye to SEA DOGS, as they are pushed from the coveted top
team spot by the HOT STUFF stable. Hey everybody, watch out for MORAVIA MAUVE, who
flew up 19 points in the rankings after mashing SEA LEGS like a melon. Keep your eye
on this gal. And falling like a basher in the top ten was SEA LEGS, who dropped 13
points after a disappointing (to say the least) bout with MORAVIA MAUVE. Our
battling duelmaster KEEL HAULER has managed to hold the title, fending off BLHU
MURTHER's none too subtle advances. Better luck next time, BLUE MOON. Advice to
bashers--never force anything, just get a bigger halberd!
Let's dig a little deeper into what's happening in the ZUKAL arena. Well dang
howdy, but if challenges were votes, BISBEE BLUE would be president. Although it may
be a contest he doesn't want to win.
Death is kind of like a new puppy: he's always around wanting to play. (Ha
Zontani, how's that for a wise saying?). Well, the dead guy PAGANINNI just took
PHILANTHROPISTS off his Christmas card list. The poor guy's bloodfeud just expired
with zippo results. Ask not the elves for counsel, for they will say both yes and
no. Silly buggers, eh?
Well, that wasn't too bad; Alarond told me that the people in ZUKAL have no
sense of humor. Or maybe that they were senseless. Well, there goes another Spy
Report. Good luck in next week's fights. See ya next time I'm on this circuit!--

PERSONAL ADS
We didn't get our turn, in fact, we're missing a whole week's worth of turns, so
we're doing the personals from the e-newsletter. You thought hijacking our turns
would shut us up? As if! To prove it isn't enough, we may have to be even more
talkative. -- Jorja and the Blue Moon
Wow, Hot Stuff really IS. Look at those standbys falling like ninepins. Maybe they
should be renamed Fallbys.
Keel Hauler -- That was totally not what I wanted from you. Dinner, ancing,
moonlight and soft words, that's the stuff to give a woman, not "devastation." Sure,
some ways you ARE devastating in a good way, that "tall and dark" bit, although a
little more in the way of "handsome" would be good, also. I was expecting a few
pleasantries, the small change of civilization, you know, courtesy, dammit! And what
do I get, wham, bam, I'm outta here. NOT the way to attach a woman. -- Moravia Mauve
Sea Legs -- You see? Did we tell you, or what? The fishnet stockings are a HIT. I
know the arena reporter said that you were overcome, but so was I in a different way,
and we need to get together tonight and do something about that. I know a place
where we can be private. -- Blhu Murther
Eely Joe -- Euwh! Eels, snakes, tentacles, all the same to me and totally abhorent.
I can't stand to be anywhere close to them. Or to you. How can YOU stand it? --
Bisbee Blue
P.S. Of course, you humans can be amazingly, er, ah, tolerant of such things. You
don't see any ELF mucking about with the likes of Cthulu.
Rat Race -- I must say that I found vanquishing you amazingly pleasant. I went right
out and had a vacation on the strength of it. -- Saffira
P.S. And the crowd was properly appreciative, too--pleased by the fight and willing
to acclaim me as Most Popular. I like a crowd that knows which side the bread is
buttered on.
Through the Window -- And I did enjoy the sound of breaking glass as you went
through, too. One of life's little pleasures. -- Kingfisher

forward to the tournament and that we will see you there!
Daydream Believer
You once thought of me,
As a white knight on a steed.
Now you know how happy I can be...
It's true. I'm gone. I've punched my ticket to Immortality and I'm off to the Isle.
I know a lot of you are wondering what it is about me that has made me so successful.
I wish I knew for sure. I think it has more to do with intangibles (knack) than it
does with design, bonuses and favorites. I'll let you decide.
Daydream Believer (PR) 17-14-4-17-7-8-17 Poor Endurance--Good Damage
I -- 8 (+1) R -- 13 A -- 14 (+4) P -- 14 (+4) Df - 8 Dc - 6 (+3)
I know what you're thinking, "WTF, that guy looks like a 98 lb weakling!" Sigh...I
prefer to think my physical characteristics are ideally suited for a finesse style.
As for my bases, I know they aren't much to look at. After all, I am a PR. I'm
fortunate to be blessed where I need it the most--attack and parry.
Okay, so I've got nice bases with bonuses in the right spots. What about favorites?
Did I know them in advance or did I change them? The answer is no, I had no idea
what they were for sure until I recieved my graduation announcement. I would be
happy to tell you what my favorites are but I don't think my clone, Jumpinjack Flash,
would be very happy with me if I did. Let's just say that from the moment I stepped
on the sands as a Rookie I used the same strategy in EVERY fight. The only thing I
ever changed was armor (early on vs. TP's) and attack/defend locations. That should
give those of you who have faced me more than once something to think about.
You may be interested to know that I am all natural. I haven't had a prize of any
type used on me. I'm a freak of nature. It just goes to show you never know when a
guy like me will walk into your guildhouse looking for work as a gladiator. It's up
to you to spot the potential and nuture it along.
I'm going to list my tourney results and records versus each style. It isn't meant
to be a brag--I just thought you might find it interesting and a lot easier than
looking it up yourself. Enjoy!

As you can see, the only style I had trouble with is the ABs. I think that has more
to do with which ABs I fought rather than the style as a whole. I was 3-1 vs ABs
early on (Rookies-Champs) and 4-10 in Challengers. I was 1-5 vs Marv, 0-1 vs Marv Jr
and 0-3 vs Soulsnare. I am going to make an educated guess and assume they all had
skills or prizes added to them to make them competetive at the Challenger level where
so few ABs are. I could be wrong, though I doubt it.
See you on the Isle,
