                             Notes from the arena champ.

Ah, I devastated the Khalhums Dwarf. Too bad, really, I'd rather have grappled
with G-String. A lot more fun. She's a hot dame.

                                      SPY REPORT

Thankyouthankyou. It's great for me, The Unknown Spymaster to be back in ZUKAL.
Hope you enjoy the show. Oh, who am I kidding? I already got paid! Hey everybody,
watch out for LEVIATHAN, who flew up 16 points in the rankings after mashing JED
TARRAN DAPP like a melon. Keep your eye on this guy. And falling like a basher in
the top ten was BLAMMO, who dropped 10 points after a disappointing (to say the
least) bout with AMBITIOUS GUARD. Well, everybody's pal BITTERMAN moved his record
to 20-17-0 by defeating VENOMOUS CONCUBINE in the Duelmaster's Title Bout and gaining
5 recognition points. 4 out of 5 gladiators surveyed protect the body, so try and
avoid aiming at that location.
But enough of that bunch, let's get on to the wimps who like to avoid battle!
And who is this BLUE FUNK you ask, with 58 points and a 9-6-2 record. Ooh, the tales
I could tell! Was it guts or an overtaxed mental capacity that had BRADLY GORE
challenge up 26 points in the rankings to take on BLUE FUNK? A Carrion Bird Sellout:
BRADLY GORE 2-1-1 fights BLUE FUNK 9-6-2. (BYOB) In a touching display by a
'touched' warrior, FINLY (THE SCOTT) went after OGRE BATTLE, who was higher by 19
points. Well, when the dust settled, FINLY (THE SCOTT) was bested by OGRE BATTLE.
Remember that an arena is not always a safe place to be, but it is one of the
most interesting, though! Ask not the elves for counsel, for they will say both yes
and no. Silly buggers, eh?
I think I had better cut this one short. It's been nice chatting to those of
you whom I have not offended yet. Well, there goes another Spy Report. Good luck in
next week's fights. See ya next time I'm on this circuit!-- The Unknown Spymaster

Jed Tarran Dapp -- As you should know, I am a Dark Elf as Alastari so claims and I am
an isolationist. Andorian, NEVER. Assassin, oui. Lol -- Bradly Gore

G-String -- You are a fine warrior being a Challenger Champion and all, but why not
speedo or tighty whities? Just curious. -- Bradly Gore

Barely Legal -- Six-1, I bow to you with eyes on the prize. Lol I wish to challenge
you. Would you be willing to challenge a lowly Challenger Initiate, or would that
dishonor you? -- Bradly Gore

Ogre Battle -- By the Gods, you are a beast! I do not take kindly to a brutal loss.
We will! meet Vis-a-vis on the sand AGAIN! -- Finly (The Scot)

Bradly Gore -- Nah, I never cared for that flambe stuff. Fires make me twitchy. --
Jed Tarran Dapp

Body Language -- Your body was saying really rude things. -- Jed Tarran Dapp

And three-oh against standbys. Ambitious Guard, Userous Merchant, easy wins. For
us. Ha! -- Blammo, Blue Streak, and Blue Funk
P.S. No skills, though. Too bad.

                        WINTER FACE-TO-FACE IN SUNNY ARIZONA!

Our next winter FTF will be held in Tempe, Arizona, January 13-15, 2012. It will be
held at the Embassy Suites Hotel in Tempe, Arizona (480-894-7444), the same hotel as
last year by popular request. Room rates are $134.00 per night, 1-2 occupancy, which
includes full cooked breakfast, complimentary manager's reception, free airport
shuttle, free parking and free high speed internet. There's a fitness center,
jacuzzi, and pool. The rooms are blocked--please make your reservation by December 15
before the block is released! (This is prime season for Phoenix, and people have been
unable to book rooms because they waited too long.) Look for the tournament info
sheet and minioverviews some time in December. We hope you're all looking forward to
it and that we will see you there!
