Notes from the arena champ.
My reign was short lived. Midnight, who do you know on the Gladiatorial
Commission? After our fight, I was quickly given a note from the Arenamaster. I
guess since you can not kill your way to the top, you will bribe officials to get
your opponents out of your way. Well, at least I will not have to worry about dying
anymore. This of course could be my famous last words. I think I will go find Jed
and have a drink with him at the local tavern.

P.S. Celebration at the Broken Window Tavern for my graduation. All drinks provided
by Crimson Deathe. All weapons must stay on person (for protection against the
bouncer, Through the Window). All brawls and bloodfeuds are welcomed.
SPY REPORT
The sages err'd not in their foretelling of a god descending upon ZUKAL, for I,
Novgorodny Vir, have returned! CRIMSON DEATH had cause to celebrate, after ATHOS got
21 points by beating FREDDIE. Win some, lose some. Speaking of which, ROVING DEMON
was winsome, after beating PORTHOS and seeing him lose 11 points. MIDNIGHT found out
that ZUKAL isn't a democracy. You've gotta be the best to be Duelmaster here! So
who's the team that's been walking into taverns last week and ordering milk? Sounds
like a PR stunt to me.
A Zenmaster once told me, 'Does not the spinning wheel turn? And do not the
little birds cry out?' Any ideas? Like a horde of jackals fleeing from the lion, so
did the "warriors" in ZUKAL avoid BLUE MOON. Like a pup with its tail between its
legs, BATTLE CRIES scurried away from BLUE MOON. Oh, the shame! Place your bets!
THROUGH THE WINDOW is the long shot of the week: they challenged BLUE STREAK, up by
37. Soopreyes, soopreyes! THROUGH THE WINDOW emerges from the fray 1 points the
richer. Good show, THROUGH THE WINDOW!
Ah, the duel! The roar of the oppenent, the smell of the crowd! I hear FREDDIE
of QUEEN tired of the battles and was thinking of becoming a priest. ATHOS of
CRIMSON DEATH saved him the effort of getting references. Oh hard! that to strike a
flame, the match itself must needs be wasting!
All good things must come to an end. As the seasons change, and the creatures
of the wild change also, so do I feel a yearning to leave this place. ZUKAL, I leave
