how I felt achieving the same on the following turn. Couldn't happen? But it did!
A fortuitous matchup against a TP and voila!
Let's see now...who to challenge and who to avoid. Aw, shucks, I'm lazy, so
I'll just wait and see what happens. Come and get me!

Wow, that's a nice little surprise after taking a couple of weeks off. I don't
really have anything to say 'cept that I am glad that I now hold the position of
Duelmaster. Let us all see if I can keep it. The challenging may begin!

SPY REPORT
Greetings, warriors of KOLACT! Once again I've been called out of retirement
for my abilities and insights into Spyreporting. Phhbltt! Too much drinking and too
little dodging gave CON MANCHIES a 0-1-0! I got a good laugh out of it! Ya gotta be
quick on yer feet! Keep your elbow off the table! Thrust! Block out the pain!
MEGAWARRIORS is now ranked 10th with a 2-3-0 turn. It seems so recently people were
saying TOWNSVILLAINS was washed up, finished. But 3-1-0 moved them up 0. I guess
they're washed no more... Well, LIGHTNING DECK, 2-2-1 isn't a complete rout. But
the Duelmaster has nothing to fear from you guys! What's with LENNY BAXTER? He
actually beat QUBIT's QUICKSAND, and walked away with 18 more points from the fight.
Laughs were big at MEGAWARRIORS while they watched DIE QUICK clobber VAPID VANNA.
She lost 13 points and got bruised from objects thrown from the stands. Another
fighter (QUAQSIMOTO 9-2-0) challenged another Duelmaster (TORLEC 14-9-2). Life goes
on. QUAQSIMOTO was reminded on the sands why TORLEC is Duelmaster. Wouldn't it be
nice to have live subjects to practice on? I hear some team is looking into the uses
of convicted prisoners.
No matter the time or place, men will always duel. The most avoided team was
TERRAPIN STATION. Management must be dealin', as the boys at THE MENTORS ain't
reelin'! TERRAPIN STATION's mad! How well I know the feeling of being the most
challenged warrior, GRANDIOSE GRETA! Don't make idle boasts, they may come back to
haunt you. Maybe MEGAWARRIORS' CASIMIR is one of those guys who likes pain, or
something. That's what he'll get next week, after challenging up 31 to GRANDIOSE
GRETA. Who knows what was running through CASIMIR's head, but GRANDIOSE GRETA
rearranged it for him. How soon will CASIMIR make a challenge like that again? I
hate going to the effort of writing about the kind of fights that QUONSET gets in.
He fights people like KEPLER, 9 points below. I thought QUONSET showed great skill
and promise when he overcame KEPLER. All right, so I slept through it! Big deal!
There have been some calls to lengthen the time limit. Do you want the fighters
to walk away, or not? O. PROCELLARUM looked pretty sick and surprised when he
learned THE MOONDOGS is sending him to the Dark Arena! Whadd'he expect with a
8-28-0? Sending a warrior to the Dark Arena reminds the others they'd better shape
up. Tough beans, LUNA MOTH. That's what a 5-14-0 gets you. TORLEC killed
QUAQSIMOTO, and expects revenge from QUBIT. The dead are better off dead--they have
no worries. EXEDUS of WAR HAWKS didn't know when to quit. When you've got a 5-5-0,
that's a good sign. Now he's dead. SIR INGOMYELIC larned his lesson (MISSAE taught
it well), and we right likely won't be seein' 'im fight any WAR HAWKS members with
the same gusto. Is it my imagination, or are fighters getting younger every day? To
die so young, so gloriously!
Who knows what the future holds for a warrior. More fights, there's no doubt.
Are you as tired of reading this as I am of writing it? Actually, I guess I'm
writing it before you read it. Oh, well. Time for my medication, so I'll leave now.

Citizens of Ghea (only the ignorant fail to note Lirith Kai is not in Alastari),
no new day is rising, but the sun is setting on just another beautiful evening.
While you were sleeping, an irksome rabble has entered the always fair Aruak City.
Of course they fought alongside our warriors, most not so treasured, as all
gladiators do. They drank with themselves, and slept with themselves. Whether they
had masks, who cares.
Warriors, don't be afraid. For years Aruak has been one of the safest cities in
Ghea, and that custom has been continually cultivated, and will continue to be by
those who have called it home for years and those who live, fight, and die by the
same ethics. There is no contest, nor has there ever needed to be one for many
years. A conflict of personalities has arisen, and the city has been 'invaded' by
pests.
Any rules that are annouced will be purely for the joy of the lemmings' own
little world. Those who are being targeted have no interest in participating except
to defend the integrity of an arena that is different from others. Whether you
choose to come to Aruak, do it for your own reasons, not theirs.
Competing in Aruak City has never been for the faint of heart or the weak willed.
Combat is combat, wherever you go. Blood will flow as always, and now many innocents
will be caught in the middle, but those who defend Aruak's traditions never target
those who bring respect of Aruaki customs with them to our home.
