CLAN BATTLEAXE, whose 0-5-0 this turn dropped them by 6 into 10th. TOWNSVILLAINS
stable has parlayed this turn's 2-3-0 into a 5 space move up the rankings. This
brings them up to 8th place. Good work, guys! The SPRINGBORN guild has had a 5-0-0
turn and deserves to be watched in the future. You never know where this kind of
thing can lead. On their very first turn, KING NIXON had a 4-1-0, and with this kind
of luck or skill, should do well. Welcome to KOLACT. And let's see, LUNELLE fought
SIR PRISE and gained 26 points and contributed to THE MOONDOGS' 1-4-0. WOLFRAVEN has
lost to RUN ABOUT RON, falling 18 points, while helping make CLAN BATTLEAXE a 0-5-0
turn. Defending his title for another turn, SIR PENT kept BLOODSHED's warrior,
BLOODY MARY, from claiming the throne. By the way, was that our Duelmaster that I
saw last night, cramped under the table at Don Corleone's?
Oriental wise man once say, 'Hiding behind shields prevents proper sun tanning.'
Inscrutable, but true. I also notice that the THUNDERSTRIKERS stable was the most
avoided team this turn. Come on KOLACT, what are you afraid of? And avoiding
THUNDERSTRIKERS more than any other team we find CLAN BATTLEAXE. KOLACT, are we
going to accept, or respect this sort of thing? Well, sports fans, take notice that
CUP O'PIZZA from THE JERKS was KOLACT's most challenged warrior this turn. Tsk, tsk,
tsk. CUP O'PIZZA, does your manager know you're challenging down 19 points to fight
TYCHO from THE MOONDOGS? I thought challenges were for warriors, not cowards looking
for easy wins. CUP O'PIZZA subdued TYCHO, is nothing sacred? In a fit of brilliance
or of stupidity (hard to say sometimes), BIG JOB challenged ST STEPHEN today, facing
a 26 difference in recognition. And crowds were on their feet when BIG JOB claimed a
victory from ST STEPHEN, and now has 22 points for his efforts. In a brave attempt,
OJO TANGO from TOWNSVILLAINS challenged up 20 points to fight SIR INGOMYELIC from the
SIR AGLIO stable. OJO TANGO perhaps got his just desserts, seeing as he was bested
by SIR INGOMYELIC and ended up with 86 recognition points.
The Dark Arena is for those who cannot win, not who cannot lose with grace.
Dignity in life or death is the warrior's creed. Don Corleone's declares a free
round for JOLTEON and all of LIGHTNING DECK, for having revenged CLAN BATTLEAXE's
SHARD for killing one of their comrades. A brave warrior does not carry a red

Invitation to Newbie Managers

As a Captain of the Vendetta Cartel, Hammer has recently dissolved the Vendetta
Cartel Crimson Ascension Family. Lady Martilyo and Rook are NO LONGER members of the
Vendetta Cartel.
The Vendetta Cartel is divided into "Families" under the leadership of Captains;
who have been appointed by the VC God Father known throughout the dueling land as
Master Darque.
Hammer is now the Captain of the Vendetta Cartel Tarantula Tribe and the veteran
manager extends an invitation for prospective membership as a Probate [ONLY 2 Probate
positions are available in the VC Tarantula Tribe at the present time!] to any Newbie
Manager who qualifies under the following conditions:
1. Newbie Manager MUST have Online Access for Email communications! [Hammer is
presently living in Qatar and Lieutenants Maximillian and Firehawk are living in
Canada; so Email Communication is a MUST for consideration!]
2. Newbie Manager MUST have the time and funds to create 2 new stables to be
placed in 2 separate Slow Arenas [the cost of running 1 stable in a Regular Arena!]
to actively participate on a monthly basis with the other 3 T-Tribe members of the
Vendetta Cartel!
3. Newbie Manager MUST have the DESIRE to be an Active Member of the Vendetta
Cartel as a Tarantula Tribe trainee aka Probate; developing his/her managerial skills
under the mentorship of Hammer and the other VC members; thus proving themselves
worthy to become Vendetta Cartel Lieutenants in the Vendetta Cartel Tarantula Tribe!
The Vendetta Cartel Tarantula Tribe lives by the Feud; thereby prospective
Probates are forewarned that membership guarantees instant Friends and instant
Enemies!
Any prospective Probates who 1.) seek to improve their managerial
insights/abilities under the counsel of Hammer and other Vendetta Cartel members 2.)
desire to be active members of an Active Alliance that WILL NOT Dissolve in a Few

Our next Winter Face-to-Face will be held on Martin Luther King weekend, Friday
through Sunday, 14-16 January 2005, at the Embassy Suites in Tempe, Arizona (4400 S
Rural Rd--this is the same hotel as last year). Room rates are $139.00 per night,
1-4 occupancy, which includes breakfast. The rooms are blocked. The reservations
number is 480-897-7444; tell them you're with the "Reality Simulations Face to Face
Convention" block. Our room block will be released in mid-December, so please make
sure you reserve your room before then!
Room rates include a full cooked-to-order breakfast and a complimentary two-hour
manager's reception. There is a free shuttle to the airport, as well as free parking.
The hotel is located down the freeway in Tempe. All rooms have high speed internet
(for an extra charge). There is a fitness center, jacuzzi, and pool, and of course a
bar and Mexican restaurant inside the hotel. And there's Denny's right across the
street. Look for transportation info in the tournament information sheet.
The tournament information sheet/strategy sheet should be out sometime in late
November/early December.
