SPY REPORT
Hail and well met warriors of KOLACT! Know me for who I am, Zontani Sharp Eyes,
Spymaster extraordinaire of all Alastari. Former top team KING NIXON was unseated
this week as SPRINGBORN moved up from 5th ranking to take the top spot with a 4-1-0
record for the round. Warriors--remember that glory waits always around the corner!
Witness how this week SPRINGBORN went 4-1-0 to move up 4 in the rankings. KRANKY
KARL caught the eye of many in the gladiatorial commission as he skillfully bested
COUPLES and was awarded 17 points in recognition. In one of the week's more notable
duels, KRANKY KARL put down COUPLES, causing him to lose 8 points of recognition in
the process. Unwilling to wait upon the will of others, Duelmaster SHARD Dark Arena
Challenged DARK CHAMPION last week in a match to decide the fate of the throne. Not
for nothing has SHARD in the past laid claim to the Duelmaster's throne, and this
week he's proven his combat skill yet again. Would you believe that over half of the
old women in KOLACT seem to feel that they could fight better than you gladiators?
Many and various are the arts of battle. In KOLACT "art" is a word that has
long since passed from the language! My inside sources tell me that the team to beat
in KOLACT these days is THE MOONDOGS. At least, most blades in town are looking to
avoid them. If you didn't look down dark alleys you'd have been hard pressed to find
any of THE FELLOWSHIP last week. Busy avoiding THE MOONDOGS? Loose talk at the
arena has reached my ears and it but confirms the knowledge that many fighters are
after GUTBOY FISHFOOT. Watch your back! I can not but mention with disdain the name
of TREEBEARD who this week posted a challenge to a warrior a full 10 points below in
the rankings. I thought TREEBEARD showed great skill and promise when he overcame
HOOKFANG. All right, so I slept through it! Big deal!
Is not Death a warrior's foremost adviser? Warriors, may this counselor stand
ready at your right hand forever! Strange what qualities come forth in the face of
certain doom. SHARD has the town astir with the news of his Dark Arena victory!
This week marked the last days of THE UPRIGHT MAN who at 24-22-0 was dispatched to
the Dark Arena by the command of ALASTARIAN IDOL's demanding management. Look no
more for VIVID SLUR in the arena or on the streets of KOLACT. His fate was sealed in
the Dark Arena. Inevitable for one at 7-12-0. Some guilds are strict but few are as
heartless as WAY OF THE SWORD C3. Witness, last turn they sent MYBAV, a 4-1-0
fighter, to the Dark Arena! Walk proud, warriors of SPRINGBORN! By striking down
BUTTERBUR you have avenged the honor of your dead. Your virtue is known to all in

Summer Face-to-Face Tournament XXXV in St. Louis!
Our next summer FTF will be held in downtown St. Louis, July 29-31, 2005. It will be
at the Radisson Hotel & Suites, St. Louis (800-925-1395--ask for the Reality
Simulations room block). Room rates are $99.00 per night, 1-4 occupancy. The rooms
are blocked--please make your reservation by mid-June before the block is released!

Winter Face-to-Face Tournament XXXVI in Tempe!
Our next winter FTF will be held in Tempe, Arizona, January 20-22, 2006. It will be
held at the Embassy Suites Hotel in Tempe, Arizona (480-894-7444), the same hotel as
last year by popular request. Room rates are $139.00 per night (same as last year!),
1-4 occupancy, which includes full cooked breakfast, complimentary manager's
reception, free airport shuttle, free parking, high speed internet (for extra charge),
fitness center, jacuzzi, and pool. The rooms are blocked--please make your
reservation soon before the block is released! (This is prime season for Phoenix, and
several people were unable to book rooms last year because they waited too long.)
