Notes from the arena champ.
Z -- There's no slash like a ferocious slash. Secret to my tubing success? ...it's
all in the tootsies. Ah sure, I've heard the expression "surfin by the seat of one's
shorts" and I've seen boogie-boarders perched like royalty...chin up, nostrils
flared...but true surfin is a communion with the wave and works off a central
balancing point somewhat above one's ankles. The manipulation of said point, comes
from ten little piggies...individually they're nothing, but working in harmony they
defy gravity. You can literally "read" the wave through your feet. And these
puppies should be pampered, too...it makes em extra happy if, when sunning, you
separate each toe with pieces of toothpicks to assure even exposure. No playing

SPY REPORT
Greetings, warriors of KOLACT! Once again I've been called out of retirement
for my abilities and insights into Spyreporting. Bein' on top is great while it
lasts, QUBIT. But how many friends do you have now? What's with MOONDAY? He
actually beat SPRINGBORN's MR SHRDLU, and walked away with 17 more points from the
fight. Major screwup at SPRINGBORN. MR SHRDLU lost 16 points to MOONDAY. Some new
strategies, perhaps? Maybe MR SHRDLU will provide more easy wins... I'm sure KOLACT
is excited about QUIP, the new Duelmaster from QUBIT. (remember?) But when you've
seen as many as I have... I suppose you want to hear some rumors and dirty gossip
about your fellow fighters? Tough!
If at first you don't succeed, avoid. That'll get you in the Spyreports.
There have been some calls to lengthen the time limit. Do you want the fighters
to walk away, or not? FALLING STAR of THE MOONDOGS didn't know when to quit. When
you've got a 4-9-0, that's a good sign. Now he's dead. Here's some advice: study
your opponent, master many skills, fight dirty.
Who knows what the future holds for a warrior. More fights, there's no doubt.
Are you as tired of reading this as I am of writing it? Actually, I guess I'm
writing it before you read it. Oh, well. Remember--a good fighter needs both good
