SPY REPORT
It is I, Novgorodny Vir, Spymaster of Spymasters. Look on my work, ye mighty,
and despair! Nothing is certain in KOLACT, with changing loyalties, changing
Duelmasters. Write this down: new top team--SPRINGBORN. SIR AGLIO had cause to
celebrate, after SIR BROKE STROKER got 14 points by beating ACTAON. Win some, lose
some. Speaking of which, SIR COPHAGUS was winsome, after beating CYNICA and seeing
her lose 12 points. QUO VADIS successfully staved off a grab for the roses by SADIE
of SPRINGBORN. Does KOLACT have no one talented enough to dethrone him? Word has it
one team in KOLACT is using psychics to predict wins. They lead a charmed life!
My mother wished me to avoid conflict, and seek the gentle trade of Spyreporter.
But warriors aren't supposed to avoid fights!
Like the wind whispering among the pines, do hearest I many disquieting rumors.
Oh hard! that to strike a flame, the match itself must needs be wasting!
Leave me now, you base fools! Keep those sands bloody and the buzzards fat! Do
not despair! I shall return!-- Novgorodny Vir

PERSONAL ADS
Aristorkus -- I'm a want'n ta work'm, but dey say "Work'm!" so der ya go. -- Wanda
P.S. That's my oh-so-tough persona...needs work, I know.
What?!? what?...okay, I got it...Sir Cumference -- You're so big when you sit around
the house...you...sit... ...I don't get it. -- Sardine Sally (BG)
Quip -- Don't mind if I do take over the stylemaster slot. It's the craft of our
craft. -- Mr. Shrdlu
Quo Vadis -- My notions on arena combat have been relegated back to "crank" status.
I'm for sure some of my ideas are sound, but losing has a funny way of exposing them
as the less than stellar brainchilds I'd originally proposed. Oh well, I'll worry
myself when someone makes me boss. -- Sadie
Quasimodo -- Nick was saying just the other day that by your name maybe you were a
"quasi-Moto" like some Mr. Moto he used to know. But then he said probably not,
because you weren't a "slant-eyed, yellow-faced smoothie." Managers are so strange.
-- Estrella
Sir Broke Stroker -- I was all excited, getting matched with a famous person and all.
And then you stepped out on the sands and went through the old warm-up stuff, and I
thought to myself, Self, this isn't the real, original, famous Broke Stroker, this is
his little brother. Besides, I heard the original was a different style. -- Actaon
Dangerous Criminal? THAT? How ridiculous. That was a pussycat. No, a pussycat is,
at least sometimes, pleasant. That was a bowl of tofu. Bah. -- Cynica
Sir Cophagus -- You left me coughing again. I hate it when that happens. More
mints, that's what I need. Mint after mint after mint. Which really screws up the
taste of almost everything else. -- Moonday
P.S. Note that since we did not fight Mr. Shrdlu-O today, I have temporarily taken
back the extra O. Or at least, I found one just, ahem, lying around somewhere,
looking lost and lonely. Can't have that. But if it is the one I leant to Mr.
Shrdlu-O, it is available for him at need.
Wanda -- So, hey, I could get to like this gladiating stuff if I keep meeting babes.
Of course, next time, I'll know what's going on and I'll win. Babes won't be
defeating ME, because I am, after all, a Big Cheese. -- Aristorkus
P.S. If you want to buy me dinner tonight, I will entertain you with stories of my
childhood.
Ed. -- YES! That must be it: O-hoarding. Amazing the dirty tricks people will get
up to, isn't it? -- Monday
Someone probably said they were going up in value or something. You know,
speculating on the O-futures market. -- Ed.

A few notes about e-mailed personals:
You may submit personal ads, columns, spotlights, etc. electronically, either via e-
mail to ads at reality dot com (which doesn't need any more spam, thank you) or on
the web at http://www.reality.com/duel2/modules.php?name=Ads. When you submit
something, you should get back a receipt from HAL at RSI. If you do NOT get a
receipt, your ads may have gone astray (not all e-mail makes it to its destination
any more than all snail mail does). If you DO get a receipt, it should, in the body
of the message, tell you what arena your stuff was filed in. Check your receipt to
make sure your submission made it to the intended destination. Also check to see
that everything you sent made it to the same place. Sometimes HAL, who is rather
simple-minded in some ways, will send half your stuff to another arena if the name
or number of that arena shows up at the beginning of a line. So if the word Ti
appears at the beginning of a line halfway through your ads, all the ads after that
may end up in Ti, which is closed and doesn't need ads. As a side note, sometimes
things move slowly, so don't wait until the last minute to send your ads and all.
If they get held up along the way, they may not show up until next turn. Happy
writing! -- Ed.

We of the Desolate Empire Alliance want to welcome two managers to our fold. Kon of
the Empire Rising, and Osiris! May they be blessed with the blood of their enemies,
and give no quarter in War! -- Dark Knights of the Desolate Empire
11 April 2006
To all those lookin' for some easy pickins: I, Elfwine, manager of The Shallowship,
the most feared team in all of Jhelum, invite all who seek wide open spaces for pubs
and other such establishments of limited debauchery, to visit this deserted city and
help me clear up some of the dust. I'm just about ready to have my guys face off
against each other to get some new action. Guess I'd better join a tournament or
something...hmmmm, there's a thought.
