Notes from the arena champ.
And so the venemous concubine provided the competition for my first title
defense. It wasn't much competition, but I guess it is what passes for a warrior
these days. At least until someone else gets up here.
Personally I hope that I manage to fight this next turn. It seems the holiday
celebrations took a lot out of my manager. Hopefully we managed to get put on
maintenance. If so, I'll be back next turn. If not, then maybe someone else will
get their shot. Perhaps Moon-eye?

If you were disturbed from your beauty rest only to have to watch a bunch of
KOLACT brutes like you, you'd be grouchy, too. Later days, Bacon Makin', since
VIKINGS took top team from you this turn, you guys are old news. Now let's all watch
THE MOONDOGS' heads swell from their 4-1-0 this turn. Haa ha ha ha! Big shots, big
talk, big deal. Of course, we're all terribly impressed to see CIRIC win a fight and
gain 14 points, terribly. Tsk, tsk, ULF SUNDERHELM beat MOON-EYE and MOON-EYE lost 6
points. You're breakin' my heart. And if variety is the spice of life, KOLACT may
be getting bland, as CHAGAN stays top dog in the city. Kickbacks and bribes,
kickbacks and bribes, how else do you think some of these guys win their fights?

Death and Taxes. The less death I see, the more it taxes my patience. Let's
see if anyone's dead or dying. It's about time FLATLINERS got beat for picking on
warriors like FERRIN MONDOR. Bravo, THE MOONDOGS. See you at Don Corleone's. Honor
is like a chainmail shirt, it only shines through use. Certain nameless cowards will
doubtless rebuke me on this one.
What does the KOLACT arena have in common with the inns? It's just as
comfortable to sleep in either place. Ha ha ha ha! Phlllt! Just had to do that
before I leave the fine city of KOLACT. I feel much better now. Glad to see the
