DUELMASTER'S COLUMN
Notes from the arena champ.
Sometimes a guy just gets busy. Packing, and things like that. Some people
tell you things like, "Get ready, I'm sure you'll graduate this time!" and you take
them at their word. So you pack. Then you go out and do your job and win again.
Then you don't graduate.
If it was just wasted packing time that wouldn't be a big deal. Hopefully, I'll
need to do that task eventually. But somehow in the rush to pack I seem to have
neglected the very important task of writing a column. My manager was not pleased
about this. He seems to take such duties seriously. So, it seems, should I. So I'm
now writing this. As for the missing graduation, it seems that while I have the
needed ratings, they are not all in the proper categories for a Total Parry. Anybody
have a spare defense skill?
That leaves Phlegm to deal with before I am done with this writing business.
Uhm, did you say lucky, Phelgm? (Honestly, though, how can you talk with all that
stuff in your throat?) I believe the arena newsletter suggested you were
"devastated" this time. Now that doesn't sound like just luck. You are welcome to
try again if you so desire. We will see if my luck still holds.

Good day, friends and fiends, welcome to your friendly neighborhood spyreport.
I doubt KOLACT will ever be the same. And let's see, CIRIC fought LIA HOBERN and
gained 15 points and contributed to VIKINGS' 4-1-1. LIA HOBERN has lost to CIRIC,
falling 11 points, while helping make THE MOONDOGS a 1-4-0 turn. We should ask
PHLEGM about the thrill of victory, and what being the new Duelmaster does for a
warrior, he's now the one to ask. Tell me, is nothing sacred? I have heard from
unimpeachable sources that Don Corleone's uses trolls in their stew. Talk about
gristle!
Oriental wise man once say, 'Hiding behind shields prevents proper sun tanning.'
Inscrutable, but true. ABOMINATION has cause to stand tall, as they were KOLACT's
most avoided team. A smart manager knows this is a team to beat. And avoiding
ABOMINATION more than any other team we find VIKINGS. KOLACT, are we going to
accept, or respect this sort of thing? The most challenged warrior this turn was
VIKINGS' warrior HAGAR BLUETOOTH. More fighters challenged him than challenged the
Duelmaster!
The Dark Arena is for those who cannot win, not who cannot lose with grace.
Dignity in life or death is the warrior's creed. Congratulations go out to
