Notes from the arena champ.
Finally the Duelmaster Throne of Aruak City is occupied by a warrior of class
and distinction. It is right and just that I am here to address my subjects in this
city. As Duelmaster and The Best Of The Best, I offer you mere followers the
following words of wisdom:
Never spar when you can manipulate.
The color of one's nose determines how far one can advance.
There is no such thing as a true friend.
A "yes" man is worth his weight in gold.
Humility is overrated.
Andorians are easy.
Tis better to take before one is taken.

SPY REPORT
Greetings warriors! It is I, Zontani Sharp Eyes, here to bring report of the
clash and bustle of the weekly ARUAK CITY games. Did only my eyes note the 3-1-0
record which KRILL CAVALRY managed to post this round? I don't doubt that such a
record will draw challengers! DOGMATIC caught the eye of many in the gladiatorial
commission as he skillfully bested EMBEZZLING SCRIBE and was awarded 21 points in
recognition. In one of the week's more notable duels, KHALHUMS DWARF put down RAGING
BULL, causing him to lose 5 points of recognition in the process. Not for nothing
has BROWN NOSE in the past laid claim to the Duelmaster's throne, and this week he's
proven his combat skill yet again. Heed this! A seer has warned that if exactly 6
die in duels this week, the whole city shall perish! Just remember...5 or 7!
But come now, let us look deeper into the maze of contention and crossed blades
that is city ARUAK CITY. ARUAK CITY, city of gladiators! Mighty among the names of
thy guilds is KRILL CAVALRY, a guild shunned and avoided by many in the weekly duels.
If you didn't look down dark alleys you'd have been hard pressed to find any of
COLORIFIC last week. Busy avoiding KRILL CAVALRY? Mighty fighters cannot but expect
competition from those below. STABLEBOY take warning! You have more than a few
enemies in ARUAK CITY. A match that raised a few eyebrows at the games this week, it
seems that YELLOW FEVER posted a challenge against the more highly recognized
STABLEBOY. The results, you ask? Well, the firebrand YELLOW FEVER was overcame by
STABLEBOY. Remember warriors, this is the discipline of steel.
What warrior does not hone his years, impatiently waiting for the moment of his
foe's mortality? The warrior's path is harsh. For mediocrity there is but one
reward--death. This past week WOODROW BILLIT, at 11-16-0, departed ARUAK CITY
forever. Some say a warrior is judged by the way he bears arms. One thing is sure,
better a dagger in hand then a sword on the belt!
If it were not for my skills as a spy I would have been mugged three times
already in ARUAK CITY. Nice atmosphere you have here! Sadly warriors, now longer
can I keep thy company nor savor the ale of thy fine city. Depart I must and soon!

arenas. When you email in something, check and make sure you have the correct
arena number! It's easy for a finger to slip onto the wrong key. When the
