Notes from the arena champ.
Aruak City, I am your Duelmaster. I was duelmaster once before and then I ran
right into a Cow. What is it about being Duelmaster that I can't ever get a
challenge through? You'd think everyone would want a shot at the title, but
NOOOOOO....
Everyone I challenge seems to be avoiding me, and then I get a random matchup
with whom... yep, the Cows again. Bane of my strikerific existence. Whassup,
Colorific? You no want a piece of the Paragon? Well, you have a lot in common with
the ladies in that regard. I guess you just don't want an 0 and 1 on that sterling
record!
I'd be remiss if I didn't mention the passing of Tapik. Tapik, you were a
gentle soul with a rather frightful appearance (good thing we don't track Charisma in
our stats, he'd be a 3 if I ever saw one, if ya know what I mean!). If I stick
around for another turn maybe I'll tell you guys his stats. You'll definitely wonder
how he won so much. I'd like to say good management, but we all know that couldn't
be the case.
Well, that'll do it for now. Sorry I couldn't come up with some wonderful
little ditty about Smimatsu's mom again, but he's still a little P.O'd that I'm here
and he's still down in the champs. Won't get any PPs that way, loser!

SPY REPORT
Welcome ARUAK CITY. I, Olaf Modeen remember this place well. Many the fights
have I fought here. The celebrations, the disappointments... Woof! COLORIFIC were
a bunch of dogs after BULLDOGS got through with 'em! 3rd ain't so sweet as 1st! It
seems so recently people were saying BULLDOGS was washed up, finished. But 3-1-0
moved them up 1. I guess they're washed no more... What's with REPRESENT? He
actually beat KRILL CAVALRY's OLD HAROLD ANNE, and walked away with 25 more points
from the fight. Major screwup at ANIMAL FARM. PINK PORPOISE lost 19 points to GAG
HALFRUNT. Some new strategies, perhaps? Maybe PINK PORPOISE will provide more easy
wins... Apparently ARUAK CITY isn't filled with as many gutless wonders as I
thought. The Dreaded Duelmaster got 6 challenges this turn! See how the Duelmaster
challenged COLORIFIC's SILVER HAIR? That sort of initiative is how he got where he
is now. Try as he might, SILVER HAIR wasn't good enough at persuading PARAGON to
step down from the Duelmaster's throne... Advice to fighters with a 1 will--give up
fighting!
Speaking of cowardly avoiders and unfair challenges... The most avoided team
was IMMORTALS. The bums at CHAOS CARNIVAL couldn't face the challenges from
IMMORTALS! No excuse for that! Keep challenging up 36 points, JADOW, and I won't
have to write about you much longer. RED-EYE always accepts those kind of
challenges... JADOW beat RED-EYE (JADOW getting 30 points, too!)--Ooh baby! Now dat
I likes!
There have been some calls to lengthen the time limit. Do you want the fighters
to walk away, or not? ARTEMIS, with hers forgettable 3-7-0, was slain by FENCHURCH
in a forgettable match. CHAOS CARNIVAL didn't seem to mind very much. How long have
I been here? I got people to see, places to go...
Who knows what the future holds for a warrior. More fights, there's no doubt.
