Notes from the arena champ.
Make that four DM Titles. What a thrill! What an honor. I have defeated three
fine warriors--Lord Protector Gag Halfrunt, fourteen winner Pair-O-Sevens, and TVd
Tickle Me Tiger), and an NPC for those four crowns.
It is time to abdicate. I am 14-2-1 in the arena and not graduated. It appears
as though The Commission will hold me to the normal standards of needing 20 arena
fights. Currently I have exactly 30 FE and Mino feels it would be in my best
interest to fight in the Tempe FTF as a Champion. While my tournament record is
somewhat mediocre, the decise bonus and the great skills learned puts me in the
perfect position to run for a TV in Tempe. Wish me luck?
That, of course, means there will be a new Duelmaster. I hate that it might be
one of Purple People Eater's Colorifics, as three--Yellow Belly, Green With Envy, and
Red-Eye are challenging. Perhaps Grimm's fine tournament warrior, Tiny Meerkat will
give it a run? My own preference is Pink Porpoise, one of my own critter teammates.
Give 'em "what for", Pinkie!

SPY REPORT
Like the magnificent Sun, rising upon the Dawn and exiling the Night for a Day,
I, Novgorodny Vir, return once again! Practice pays for BENJY MOUSE, who pummelled
YELLOW BELLY, to pocket 24 points. NY STATE OF MIND certainly had a baffled
expression on his face, after losing to FRIDMYNDR and losing 13 points in the
process! A certain someone saw BLUE BULLDOG at The Victory Tavern with the shakes,
and now she fails to show up to defend hers throne. What a pathetic slob! What can
be a greater victory? GREEN WITH ENVY has taken its place as the top, as ARUAK
CITY's new Duelmaster. So who's the team that's been walking into taverns last week
and ordering milk? Sounds like a PR stunt to me.
A Zenmaster once told me, 'Does not the spinning wheel turn? And do not the
little birds cry out?' Any ideas? Perhaps the warriors of BULLDOGS should take up
some hobbies, as they are the most avoided team... The warriors of BULLDOGS found
their efforts at combat frustrated as CHAOS CARNIVAL apparently had more important
things to do than fight. If challenges were horses, HOTBLACK DESIATO could open up a
fast food joint! Word has it REPRESENT suffered a romantic setback. Note how he
challenged RED-EYE, 33 points his senior. Not to smear a reputation, but COLORIFIC
must be a little surprised, as RED-EYE blew it when facing REPRESENT, 33 points below
her.
Ah, the duel! The roar of the oppenent, the smell of the crowd! Never one to
advocate diplomacy and restraint, I was pleased to see WRATHMEN DM 20 retaliate
against THE HITCHHIKERS in bloodfeud! Questions are being raised about the disposing
of severed body parts in the arena. A certain tavern in ARUAK CITY would I avoid!
Do not think spyreporting in ARUAK CITY is the highlight of my life. My fingers
tire and I fear my incessant prattling may cause unfair judgement upon my impeccable
