Notes from the arena champ.
Of course I am Duelmaster. I am a Colorific and the best fighter in Aruak City.
If that ugly blue bulldog had stuck around, instead of going into hiding, I would
have shown him who is boss. The coward!
I want to get a few things clear in my series of many Duelmaster Columns to
come. Let's start with a few thoughts on a couple of veteran teams.
Animal Farm. A bunch of putrid animal doo doo. We Colorifics hate them! Our
boss, the great and wonderful Purple People Eater, despises Mino, that crafty, ugly,
cantankerous pirate manager of Animal Farm! The old pirate calls them his
"critters." We call them, and him, a big collection of dirty brown animal dung.
Kennelworth and his Bulldogs. Bulldogs? Some of them are cows! He and his
warriors, while probably okay sorts, are pansy polukas always spouting that Heart And
Soul stuff, and that No Kill nonsense, and that even uglier Health, Humility, Honor
crapola. What do they think this is--tiddly winks? Get a brain, Kennelworth.
Better yet, get some testicles.
This is The Great Green With Envy signing off for now. If you challenge me,
your next fight will be in the Tournament Of The Dead next Fall. Har har.

SPY REPORT
Well, what are you looking at, ARUAK CITY? Ain't you never seen Snide Clemens
before? Ah, shaddup and listen to my news. Later days, CHAOS CARNIVAL, since
COLORIFIC took top team from you this turn, you guys are old news. COLORIFIC turned
their 5-0-0 turn into a 1st place rank in the listings this turn. Any better than
this, and you get put on hit lists. BENJY MOUSE challenged ARUAK CITY's Duelmaster
for a shot at the throne. And if variety is the spice of life, ARUAK CITY may be
getting bland, as GREEN WITH ENVY stays top dog in the city. Kickbacks and bribes,
kickbacks and bribes, how else do you think some of these guys win their fights?
Skill? Ha!
He who fights and runs away will live to fight another day, the coward.
ILLMATIC, I suppose you'll be glad to know you were this turn's most avoided team.
Care to know who is the most afraid of you? And who led the way in this mass act of
cowardice? Let's see, well, whatcha know? It was CHAOS CARNIVAL. Ha ha ha ha!
Ooh, I'm frightfully impressed, BENJY MOUSE was this turn's most challenged warrior.
Watch that ego swell, sports fans. I guess I can give a little credit to AMBER
ANTEATER of ANIMAL FARM for challenging up by 22 to FRIDMYNDR. AMBER ANTEATER won to
get 66 points of recognition.
Death and Taxes. The less death I see, the more it taxes my patience. Let's
see if anyone's dead or dying. And now a passing thought on a warrior dying young
(SHADOW'S EDGE of CHAOS CARNIVAL): You had your chance and now you're dead. Oh
well... Titanium shields and bamboo daggers, guess what brave team is developing
these kinds of weapons?
There's got to be a better place in ARUAK CITY to get a drink than The Bulldog
Inn! Any suggestions? Well, I've had enough of this drivel, and I'm sure you have

hadn't heard. Second, since you seem to wish to take it beyond the level of banter,
here's what: I thought your *challenge* was cheap. We had already fought four times
before that, and in all but one you were able to scum me. I even publicly
acknowledged that you're better (leaving out that I've been the top of our style 5 of
the last 8 turns, yada yada). But our fights are ridiculously long, and frankly we
have little to nothing to teach each other, so it seems to me you just wanted a tick
