Notes from the arena champ.
Aruak,
It was with great humility that I ascended the throne last turn, so much that I had
no words to speak! I can only say that it has been an unexpected rise in an arena
full of respected managers and feared warriors. I was lucky to fend off a determined
challenger in Blue Bulldog, and expect every defense to be as difficult. Thank you
for the honor of competing in the heart and Soul of Andoria, and I look forward to
that drink at the Bulldog Inn, Kennelworth.

SPY REPORT
Hail and well met warriors of ARUAK CITY! Know me for who I am, Zontani Sharp
Eyes, Spymaster extraordinaire of all Alastari. Did only my eyes note the 3-1-0
record which ANIMAL FARM managed to post this round? I don't doubt that such a
record will draw challengers! FENCHURCH caught the eye of many in the gladiatorial
commission as she skillfully bested THE GENESIS and was awarded 29 points in
recognition. In one of the week's more notable duels, LEO GUARDSMAN put down UDDER
DELIGHT, causing her to lose 15 points of recognition in the process. This time out
BLUE BULLDOG made hers bid for the throne as she challenged REPRESENT in an all out
contest of skill for possession of the title! Not for nothing has REPRESENT in the
past laid claim to the Duelmaster's throne, and this week he's proven his combat
skill yet again. No confirmation, but my sources claim that the top team has gained
their position using magical aids. Charmed weapons perhaps?
Many and various are the arts of battle. In ARUAK CITY "art" is a word that has
long since passed from the language! ARUAK CITY, city of gladiators! Mighty among
the names of thy guilds is WRATHMEN DM 20, a guild shunned and avoided by many in the
weekly duels. If you didn't look down dark alleys you'd have been hard pressed to
find any of BULLDOGS last week. Busy avoiding WRATHMEN DM 20? Mighty fighters
cannot but expect competition from those below. MCWITTLE take warning! You have
more than a few enemies in ARUAK CITY. A match that raised a few eyebrows at the
games this week, it seems that COW BELL posted a challenge against the more highly
recognized HILDA. The results, you ask? Well, the firebrand COW BELL was defeated
by HILDA. Remember warriors, this is the discipline of steel.
What warrior does not hone his years, impatiently waiting for the moment of his
foe's mortality? Look no more for TOBY BLOODSPIKE in the arena or on the streets of
ARUAK CITY. His fate was sealed in the Dark Arena. Inevitable for one at 7-15-0. I
have seen warriors die in youth. I have seen men cut down in their prime. This week
ILLMATIC must mourn the loss of 9-3-1 THE GENESIS to THE HITCHHIKERS. My sources at
FURRY FURY stable claim they've never seen the guild bitterer. This as a result of
the untimely demise of PAINDA. Beware MAD COW DISEASE! Many townsmen have begin to
remark over the fact that after one more round of duels COLORIFIC's Bloodfeud against
HOTBLACK DESIATO will have expired. Dark alleys may hide both secrets and assassins.
In the arena there is only the brightness of steel. Keep vigil always!
A thought before I go. Each warrior practices one style, but must not the wise
manager learn the secrets of them all? More than a sharp eye must I keep, indeed a
stout pair of legs must I keep as well! The endless paths of Alastari await me!

it on that heavily in the BF, but there were reasons. One, you did come after
Shadow's Edge, who was an upchallenge in recognition but less experienced. I claim
