"Alourin! You know Jorja said you were all to stay away from the lake." Surfer
Sam, the acting manager of the team, was practically wringing his hands. "There's a
perfectly good shower in the team cabana, you don't need to--"
Alourin swatted him on his rear to move him out of the way and continued to drag
hoses from the team's guildhouse down to the edge of the lake. "I'm not going IN the
lake," she said patiently. "I'm just going to pump water OUT of it to fill our big
pool."
"It's a lot faster this way than if we were to use the well," Sugar Jane pointed
out.
"It would take DAYS to fill the big pool from the well," Noreen agreed. She
leaned closer to the acting manager and whispered, "We can have a pool party, you
know."
Surfer Sam brightened at the thought. "With babes and babe-watching dudes," he
said, nodding, "and a barbeque and plenty of vin and beer.... But we shouldn't be
getting the water out of the lake. Jorja said the lake is dangerous. We could fill
the pool from the well and just go ahead and WAIT those extra days, couldn't we?"
"No," Alourin said. "I want to be ready in case Aristotle...or should it be
Archimedes? In case one of those dreamers comes over to test the bathtub for
enlightenment, except that our bathtub is too small for two people to test. Not just
cozy, but really too small. Well, it's too small for ANYTHING fun, really. So we
need the pool. Besides, even if there ARE monsters in the lake, how're they going to
come up these little bitty hoses? It'll be perfectly safe!"

SPY REPORT
It's me, The Unknown Spymaster here with my bag to give you the news on last
week's fights. Say good-bye to HIGH JINKS, as they are pushed from the coveted top
team spot by the THE LAWMEN stable. It was a tough week for DRYNN'S PRETTIES, to
drop 6 places in the rankings. Coming up with a solid 3-0-0 outing, THE CITY has
advanced 5 places in the rankings. Advancing in the rankings was WANDERING MONSTERS
who went from last turn's 23-34-0, to this week's record of 27-35-0. Ya know, some
days it doesn't pay to walk out on the sands. WAX HOSTILE was bested by BLOOD BUD
and drops 18 points. The most challenged warrior this week was BRIARTHORN. If this
keeps up, our Duelmaster's going to need more avoids! Drawing on all of his
experience as a 9-6-0 warrior, CROUCHING TIGER went for the Duelmastership against
BRIARTHORN this week. In front of all the crowds, CROUCHING TIGER took the
Duelmaster's crown for his own. I give the bum two weeks. Can you believe they are
paying me 10 gold to deliver this stuff?
Here is other news that is of note. Here's a song for you: Who's afraid of the
big, bad HIGH JINKS? Big bad HIGH JINKS. Big bad HIGH JINKS. RIZTAB's afraid of
the big bad HIGH JINKS. Tra la la la la! And you guys like to boo me? Well,
unsling your rasberries, cause ARENA FELINES beats feet every time HIGH JINKS smiles
at them. Try farming, eh? In a touching display by a 'touched' warrior, AHBIG ROACH
went after AGLIBOL, who was higher by 19 points. Well, when the dust settled, AHBIG
ROACH was subdued by AGLIBOL. BADGER of HIGH JINKS had better have a good reason for
challenging down 15 points in a challenge which he lost. I thought BADGER showed
great skill and promise when he was subdued by FAST TRACK. All right, so I slept
through it! Big deal!
Death is kind of like a new puppy: he's always around wanting to play. (Ha
Zontani, how's that for a wise saying?). Knowing when to use the right tactics at
the proper time is a very important step on the road to Duelmaster.
Well, there's the manager of the RIZTAB giving me the 'cut' sign (or is that
'They're going to strangle you in the alley?). Okay, so I may not be the world's
best comedian, but then you guys aren't the world's best warriors. Its been real,

I am currently trying to put together a favorites chart for AD warriors. I
desperately need help with this. What I need are style, favorite rhythm (ex.:
hi/low), favorite weapons, and tactics. What would be great is if you could send me
a copy of the invite with the warrior's name, id#, and arena blacked out. This way,
I can verify that this is an actual warrior. Minis will work, too!
For those interested, I have both a challenge style vs. style and a match-up style
vs. style chart. There's about 250 fights calculated in these charts, and I'll be
