SPY REPORT
Hail and well met warriors of RIZTAB! Know me for who I am, Zontani Sharp Eyes,
Spymaster extraordinaire of all Alastari. Fortune did not smile upon BLOODSUCKERS
this time out who this turn suffered a fall into 7th position in the wake of a 0-5-0
round. Warriors--remember that glory waits always around the corner! Witness how
this week ERRATA went 5-0-0 to move up 7 in the rankings. Did only my eyes note the
3-1-0 record which THE LAWMEN managed to post this round? I don't doubt that such a
record will draw challengers! Although NIETZSCHE made a valiant effort, it did not
suffice to topple the reign of victorious CAT TAGIOUS. Would you believe that over
half of the old women in RIZTAB seem to feel that they could fight better than you
gladiators?
I have been in deep conclave with my spies who watched all that has recently
transpired. Indeed there is much I would report. RIZTAB, city of gladiators!
Mighty among the names of thy guilds is ARENA FELINES, a guild shunned and avoided by
many in the weekly duels. Apparently the stalwarts of BLOODSUCKERS are catching the
bulk of jests down at the challenging board for their large share of the avoids.
Mighty fighters cannot but expect competition from those below. STINK EYE take
warning! You have more than a few enemies in RIZTAB. I cannot but express pride for
the fearlessness of INSIGHTFULL INGIE who cast caution to the winds and challenged
MEOW MIX, a fighter 27 points higher. To be sure the battle was a losing one. But I
like to think INSIGHTFULL INGIE at least gave MEOW MIX a run for its money. A match
that raised a few eyebrows at the games this week, it seems that DAVE COOK posted a
challenge against the more highly recognized STINK EYE. The results, you ask? Well,
the firebrand DAVE COOK subdued STINK EYE. Remember warriors, this is the discipline
of steel.
Vendettas. Bloodied blades and broken spears. Indeed the city has seen more
than its fair share of red in recent times. I must report the passing of NIETZSCHE,
veteran of many duels. 9-11-0 final record His was not illustrious--but death plays
no favorites. This week's duel proved deadly to NIETZSCHE as he fell to the more
renowned warrior, CAT TAGIOUS. How will DREAMERS find revenge? Some say a warrior
is judged by the way he bears arms. One thing is sure, better a dagger in hand then
a sword on the belt!
If it were not for my skills as a spy I would have been mugged three times
already in RIZTAB. Nice atmosphere you have here! More than a sharp eye must I
keep, indeed a stout pair of legs must I keep as well! The endless paths of Alastari

Summer Face-to-Face Tournament XXXV in St. Louis!
Our next summer FTF will be held in downtown St. Louis, July 29-31, 2005. It will be
at the Radisson Hotel & Suites, St. Louis (800-925-1395--ask for the Reality
Simulations room block). Room rates are $99.00 per night, 1-4 occupancy. The rooms
are blocked--please make your reservation by mid-June before the block is released!

Winter Face-to-Face Tournament XXXVI in Tempe!
Our next winter FTF will be held in Tempe, Arizona, January 20-22, 2006. It will be
held at the Embassy Suites Hotel in Tempe, Arizona (480-894-7444), the same hotel as
last year by popular request. Room rates are $139.00 per night (same as last year!),
1-4 occupancy, which includes full cooked breakfast, complimentary manager's
reception, free airport shuttle, free parking, high speed internet (for extra charge),
fitness center, jacuzzi, and pool. The rooms are blocked--please make your
reservation soon before the block is released! (This is prime season for Phoenix, and
several people were unable to book rooms last year because they waited too long.)
