Tala Gog held up a hand to stop her. "Yes, I KNOW that the Arena Felines and
The Lawmen have been here longer than us, have lower team numbers and more fights,
etc etc. So what? We're the only team with a social director, so we're the obvious
ones to do the party."
"Social director? Tell me you're kidding. Tell me Jorja didn't okay that
name!"
"Jorja doesn't know a thing about it, and I don't mean YOU, Jane."
Sugar Jane managed to look both relieved and insulted. "Who, then?"
"Raven Eyes, a much earlier warrior, a GRADUATE, a Lady Protector. She's said
she'll do it."
"Meaning you've already decided on a party?"
"No, you aren't paying attention. Meaning we've already decided on a social
director. And it was HER idea to have the party."

Well, what are you looking at, RIZTAB? Ain't you never seen Snide Clemens
before? Ah, shaddup and listen to my news. BULBS turned their 4-1-0 turn into a 2nd
place rank in the listings this turn. Any better than this, and you get put on hit
lists. Of course, we're all terribly impressed to see TILLERITA win a fight and gain
15 points, terribly. Tsk, tsk, LOSING IS FUN beat GANJA and GANJA lost 9 points.
You're breakin' my heart. CHIC SHEIK challenged RIZTAB's Duelmaster for a shot at
the throne. And it's out with the old, in with the new, as CHIC SHEIK takes the
Title and last week's bar tab from the old Duelmaster. Heh, heh. Kickbacks and
bribes, kickbacks and bribes, how else do you think some of these guys win their
fights? Skill? Ha!
My mother always told me, 'If you don't have anything nice to say, start
talking.' I loved that woman. What's the big D? DREAMERS was the most avoided team?
Bunch of lily livered... grumble... mumble... curse... And who led the way in this
mass act of cowardice? Let's see, well, whatcha know? It was HIGH JINKS. Ha ha ha
ha! GANJA was challenged more times this turn than the Duelmaster. Now was the DM
insulted or feared? Heh, heh.
Some people like volunteer work in the hospitals. I volunteer for RIZTAB's
morgue. More variety. Gee, DARK ANGELS II, ain't it past due for sending SILENT
ANGEL Dark Arena? What took ol' '5-7-1' so long? Hope? Ha ha aha ha! I could say
I saw this coming, but so could anyone else. Anyway, this turn it came. MESCALINE
MAN II's 6-6-0 has earned him the Dark Arena. Honor is like a chainmail shirt, it
only shines through use. Certain nameless cowards will doubtless rebuke me on this
one.
There's got to be a better place in RIZTAB to get a drink than The Swinging
Aardvark! Any suggestions? Just wait 'till next time I show up here, I won't be so
