Notes from the arena champ.
Greetings, Riztab!
Hi, it is I, Thales, your Duelmaster for a turn. Fuzzy Butt--excellent match fought
with great honor. I'm sure with that skills you picked up in our fight you'll be
reclaiming the title in very short order.
A bit about me. I started out slowly (losing 4-5 record at one point) and then found
my rhythm and here I am at 17-8 heading to AD. I have 2 masters and 2 advanced
experts. Who'd of thought? Well, all I can say for sure is that Sleepy never
doubted my potential.
No challenges to report as this is my only turn with the title and Sleepy is giving
me a shot at a night fight. Guess he figures that'll be the only way a mellow
dreamer such as my self will be involved in a kill.
Before I go let me leave you with a few words of wisdom:

SPY REPORT
It's me, The Unknown Spymaster here with my bag to give you the news on last
week's fights. Coming up with a solid 2-0-0 outing, WHO DA MAN? has advanced 8
places in the rankings. Advancing in the rankings was LEGION OF CHAOS who went from
last turn's 3-2-0, to this week's record of 8-2-0. Hey everybody, watch out for
MACHIAVELLI, who flew up 29 points in the rankings after mashing CAELUM like a melon.
Keep your eye on this guy. And falling like a basher in the top ten was CAELUM, who
dropped 20 points after a disappointing (to say the least) bout with MACHIAVELLI.
What does the Duelmaster and Piltdown Man have in common? They are both the most
challenged apes in human history! Heyheyhey! Well here's a duelmaster that doesn't
sit back and say 'Challenge me'! THALES made a Dark Arena Challenge against
TILKIRRIN THE ELF this week. Our battling duelmaster THALES has managed to hold the
title, fending off TILKIRRIN THE ELF's none too subtle advances. Better luck next
time, DARK ARENA. Can you believe they are paying me 10 gold to deliver this stuff?
Here is other news that is of note. And hey, kiddies, those of you who didn't
avoid MARVEL HEROES, please raise you hand. Wow. Does RIZTAB really have that many
liars? For those of you who like math, try this one: MARVEL HEROES + Weapons That
go Boom = CULTS-R-US + Avoid City. In a touching display by a 'touched' warrior, FLY
WHEEL went after SHE-HULK, who was higher by 25 points. Well, when the dust settled,
FLY WHEEL subdued SHE-HULK.
Death is kind of like a new puppy: he's always around wanting to play. (Ha
Zontani, how's that for a wise saying?). THALES defied all odds and slew TILKIRRIN
THE ELF in the Dark Arena. The only ones displeased were the buzzards, as TILKIRRIN
THE ELF's meat is notoriously tough. Here's some advice: warriors with little wit
and will may encounter problems on the trail to the Isle.
Well, that wasn't too bad; Alarond told me that the people in RIZTAB have no
sense of humor. Or maybe that they were senseless. Okay, so I may not be the
world's best comedian, but then you guys aren't the world's best warriors. Hasta la
