Notes from the arena champ.
Greetings Riztab!
Farewell, sweet Riztab, I'm off to new adventures in Talahya (or some much needed
rest and relaxation as Sleepy is known to grant his high achieving warriors). I'm
opting for a night fight for my finale, so the throne is up for grabs. Buddha has
been lobbying for the right to the throne for a long time now, so here's his chance.
Glad to be going, just so I won't have to watch Leibniz and Missy Mossy drive their
managers crazy. Their fights back and forth have me puzzled and all I can hope is my
mentorship will serve Leibniz well if they matchup again.

SPY REPORT
Greetings warriors! It is I, Zontani Sharp Eyes, here to bring report of the
clash and bustle of the weekly RIZTAB games. Former top team SWEET MAGIC was
unseated this week as CULTS-R-US moved up from 4th ranking to take the top spot with
a 4-1-0 record for the round. Warriors--remember that glory waits always around the
corner! Witness how this week BLACKED OUT ON... went 3-2-0 to move up 4 in the
rankings. My praise to CULTS-R-US for their 4-1-0 week this time out. Indeed, it
was a skillfully fought round deserving of notice! CATFISH HUNTER caught the eye of
many in the gladiatorial commission as he skillfully bested SCYTHE and was awarded 22
points in recognition. In one of the week's more notable duels, CATFISH HUNTER put
down SCYTHE, causing him to lose 19 points of recognition in the process. Most
watched of the fights this week, the spotlight was on ARENAMASTER RILLION as he bore
arms against the Dark Arena Challenge of reigning Duelmaster MACHIAVELLI. The crowds
were amazed this turn, as ARENAMASTER RILLION killed the Duelmaster, MACHIAVELLI,
leaving DREAMERS in mourning. With bloody hand LOSING IS FUN has ascended to the
throne of champions. Is she that one which is spoken of in the ancient texts? No
confirmation, but my sources claim that the top team has gained their position using
magical aids. Charmed weapons perhaps?
Many and various are the arts of battle. In RIZTAB "art" is a word that has
long since passed from the language! My inside sources tell me that the team to beat
in RIZTAB these days is DREAMERS. At least, most blades in town are looking to avoid
them. Methinks more than a few here could name the guild it was that spent the
better part of last week avoiding DREAMERS. Indeed it was WHO DA MAN?. Mighty
fighters cannot but expect competition from those below. TARILISS take warning! You
have more than a few enemies in RIZTAB. A match that raised a few eyebrows at the
games this week, it seems that CROWN ROYAL posted a challenge against the more highly
recognized MONKEY. The results, you ask? Well, the firebrand CROWN ROYAL subdued
MONKEY. Remember warriors, this is the discipline of steel.
What warrior does not hone his years, impatiently waiting for the moment of his
foe's mortality? Dark alleys may hide both secrets and assassins. In the arena
there is only the brightness of steel. Keep vigil always!
If it were not for my skills as a spy I would have been mugged three times
already in RIZTAB. Nice atmosphere you have here! Ahh, but I can hear the spires of

RSI is now taking rollups for a slow version of the No-Tournament arena. Send your
rollup to RSI listing the arena as "Slow No Tournament". Sign and send in the
following pledge:
* I pledge that I will not send warriors from this team to a Tournament, nor will I
use a Tournament prize on a warrior from this team.
* I pledge to run a full team when I run turns in this arena. If circumstances
preclude my running less than a full team I will notify the Player Committee.
* I agree to abide by the decisions of the Player Committee.
* I understand that any warrior that participates in a Tournament shall be sent to
the Dark Arena until they are dead.
* I understand that any warrior that receives a Tournament prize shall be send to the
Dark Arena until they are dead.
The following are the rules for joining this No-Tournament arena
1. No tournament play (Dead tournament or otherwise)
2. One team per manager
3. Team starts with new rollup (or a zero fight equivalent team is transferred into
this arena.)
4. No tourney prizes allowed to modify warriors in the arena
5. 20 teams required, per RSI
6. Waivers are required to allow self-regulation on tourney ban, granting RSI
authority to Dark Arena any warrior that participates in a Tournament (until the
