SPY REPORT
Greetings warriors! It is I, Zontani Sharp Eyes, here to bring report of the
clash and bustle of the weekly RIZTAB games. Fortune did not smile upon WILD OATS
this time out who this turn suffered a fall into 8th position in the wake of a 0-0-0
round. Warriors--remember that glory waits always around the corner! Witness how
this week CULTS-R-US went 4-1-1 to move up 4 in the rankings. My praise to COLD IRON
BLOWS for their 3-1-0 week this time out. Indeed, it was a skillfully fought round
deserving of notice! SWEET BETSEY caught the eye of many in the gladiatorial
commission as she skillfully bested QUALIX and was awarded 20 points in recognition.
In one of the week's more notable duels, HURRICANE put down HUME, causing him to lose
13 points of recognition in the process. The city has turned out in honor of
KRANKYKARL, for with his arena victory he may now lay claim to the highest position
in the city! Heed this! A seer has warned that if exactly 6 die in duels this week,
the whole city shall perish! Just remember...5 or 7!
But come now, let us look deeper into the maze of contention and crossed blades
that is city RIZTAB. My inside sources tell me that the team to beat in RIZTAB these
days is DREAMERS. At least, most blades in town are looking to avoid them.
Apparently the stalwarts of CASTLE are catching the bulk of jests down at the
challenging board for their large share of the avoids. Mighty fighters cannot but
expect competition from those below. MADAM Y take warning! You have more than a few
enemies in RIZTAB. A match that raised a few eyebrows at the games this week, it
seems that TYGER posted a challenge against the more highly recognized MANGY POLECAT.
The results, you ask? Well, the firebrand TYGER was dispatched by MANGY POLECAT.
Remember warriors, this is the discipline of steel.
Is not Death a warrior's foremost adviser? Warriors, may this counselor stand
ready at your right hand forever! I must report the passing of TYGER, veteran of
many duels. 4-11-1 final record His was not illustrious--but death plays no
favorites. The warrior's path is harsh. For mediocrity there is but one
reward--death. This past week MARVANELLA, at 6-5-1, departed RIZTAB forever. Fate
is a fickle mistress. She showers the miserable with fortune but sets enemies
against the victorious. Remember this!
If it were not for my skills as a spy I would have been mugged three times
already in RIZTAB. Nice atmosphere you have here! Sadly warriors, now longer can I
