                                      SPY REPORT

Greetings, Warriors of RIZTAB. Allow this humble servant Novgorodny Vir to give
you a respite from the fights in the form of this Spyreport. What's a move up by 3
you ask? (alright, maybe you didn't ask) Cause for celebration, according to HIGH
JINKS. HIGH JINKS had cause to celebrate, after POPPY got 20 points by beating
EURIPEDES. A certain someone should cut down on the drinking and practice more,
after losing 16 points to CARLOTTA. (Discrete enough, PROTAGORAS?) Can you believe
it? CAELUM apparently has better things to do as RIZTAB's Duelmaster than show up
and fight! What can be a greater victory? INVENTOR OF PAIN has taken his place as
the top, as RIZTAB's new Duelmaster. Word has it one team in RIZTAB is using
psychics to predict wins. They lead a charmed life!
So much to report, so little time! To quell some nasty rumors, the guys in
DREAMERS are not carrying any incurable diseases. No need to avoid 'em. As a woman
of good breeding scorns the "warriors" of THE SQUARE TABLE, so did that sorry team
shy from DREAMERS
The moving sword slashes, and having slashed, moves on... Congratulations,
INVENTOR OF PAIN. The manager of SWEET MAGIC should have sent TARILISS to the Dark
Arena for having a 11-50-1 long ago. I get a special thrill from seeing innocent boy
like BRING THE PAIN from THE PAIN GANG get pointlessly killed. Good show, BUTTERCUP!
(No mercy.) Questions are being raised about the disposing of severed body parts in
the arena. A certain tavern in RIZTAB would I avoid!
Do not think spyreporting in RIZTAB is the highlight of my life. As if buffeted
by forces of nature beyond my control, I must take my leave of this place. Do not
despair! I shall return!-- Novgorodny Vir

Lady Deathstrike -- Boldly challenged, M'Lady...cool eye-liner too. Has death
written all over it. -- Buttercup

The Blob -- What was your handle? The Blob? Name won't last a week...it's too
complicated. No one will ever remember it. -- Billy

Sophocles -- Recognition from the get go...run with it. -- Babs
P.S. Zannnk you

Euripedes -- Funny, I thought I was tougher than that. -- Poppy

Augustina -- I don't care what Kissa thinks, I don't see you as a sweet liqueur at
all. More like some kind of intensely flavored savory sauce, chiles, of course,
garlic, probably lots of other stuff because Kissa's right about the "subtle" bit.
I'll have to think about this. -- Dora Bell
P.S. Maybe...lemon peel? Where did that idea come from?

Philolaus -- I'm thinking a sweet, glazed pastry stuffed with raisins and honey.
Yes. A sort of fried-pie type of thing. Come try it out. -- Tariliss

Angry Rosetta -- I wonder if there's something I could do with thorns? Maybe I could
*make* some kind of "edible thorns"? Like cheese straws but with real bite to 'em.
My first thought, of course, is chile and garlic, but it seems like everyone's using
chile and garlic. There must be other sources of astonishing (but ultimately
enjoyable) flavor. Let me think about this. -- Corianelle
P.S. And work on your anger management.

Protagoras -- So, what do you think? More sage in the stuffing? I wish now that I'd

studied exotic flavorings more, but still, the standard ones can be made to get up
and dance with study and practice. -- Carlotta
P.S. Hmm, and more black pepper.

Ghost of Portia -- I'm sorry about that, especially since you gave me a really good
idea for a cream and chocolate pudding with just a hint of mint. Well, I will make
it in honor of your memory. -- Kissa Belle

Cora -- A friend of my manager tells me that I have "re-invented Atomic Fire Ball
candy." Drat. -- Dora Bell

Caelum -- Hmm, I seem to have ended up with, well, it's almost vanilla fudge, or
maybe caramel or penuche fudge, with the bits of dried fruit and nuts I mentioned,
spread on a pastry and rolled, sliced across, and after baking drizzled with caramel
syrup. How does this strike you? -- Corianelle

Caelum -- Well, yes, a hot fudge sundae is ALWAYS good. -- Corianelle

Seth -- How about the Lasso of Truth? -- Tariliss

Our congratulations to Big Shrimp. -- Jorja and Sweet Magic

Our heartiest congratulations to Sister X, Tourney Champion at the ADM level. --
Jorja and Sweet Magic
P.S. Maybe we should make Hot Crossed Buns in your honor?
