                                      SPY REPORT

Welcome TOBIR. I, Olaf Modeen remember this place well. Many the fights have I
fought here. The celebrations, the disappointments... Ya gotta be quick on yer
feet! Keep your elbow off the table! Thrust! Block out the pain! PRIDE OF THE CDC
is now ranked 3rd with a 2-3-0 turn. What's with VIRTUE? He actually beat THE
DOGHOUSE's WOOFER, and walked away with 17 more points from the fight. Laughs were
big at PRIDE OF THE CDC while they watched VIRTUE clobber WOOFER. He lost 13 points
and got bruised from objects thrown from the stands. What a role model for TOBIR's
young 'uns! I WET MY BED! becomes Duelmaster, but don't bother to fight no more! I
can barely restrain my enthusiam for THE DEATH SQUAD's outstanding member, Duelmaster
VISIGOTH. I suppose you want to hear some rumors and dirty gossip about your fellow
fighters? Tough!
If at first you don't succeed, avoid. That'll get you in the Spyreports. What
do people see in BOWSER? His 16-34-1? THE DOGHOUSE ain't talkin', but he's got 85
points.
A fighter's lot is filled with strife, revenge, and killing. Some fighters
don't accept this. The best do. Is it my imagination, or are fighters getting
younger every day? To die so young, so gloriously!
Who knows what the future holds for a warrior. More fights, there's no doubt.
TOBIR is a nice place to live, but I don't like to live in nice places. Remember--a
good fighter needs both good skills and good luck. Until next time,-- Olaf Modeen

GET anywhere? -- Juno

Haywood Jab -- There ARE a few other people in this arena that you could fight. In
case you hadn't noticed. -- Bowser

That Fratsfan Noble was fighting under false pretences. He wasn't Fratsfan, and he
probably wasn't noble, either. So, of course, I bit him. It's what a good watchdog
does. -- Woofer

And I buried what was left of him in the sand. -- Andillia

And I buried the Shiftyeyed Volunteer right on TOP of him. -- Chichi-Hooey

Is there anybody in the DM game who is incarcerated that has had to litigate in order
to continue playing? Or anyone in the free world who may be able to help me with
case law or legal advice? The Administration has already taken "D&D type games" from
us once (though I recently had that decision overturned). I believe it's only a
matter of time before they try it again and I am prepared to file a lawsuit if need
be. I enjoy DM and any help that could be offered would be greatly appreciated! I
can be contacted at:

Ladies and gents...get your teams together and join in on the hottest and fiercest
contest ever to grace the arena sands! Intrigue, personal wars, you name it...we got
it going on! What is this contest? It's the Turf War IV in DM 47, North Fork!!
This fantastic contest was begun by my alliance mate Asmo Dius, and I've picked up
some of the slack. Contest starts on Turn 225 (approx. date June 9th?). It's an
"alliance-type contest", so grab your folks and bring them in for a bang up time.
Rules will be printed in the DM 47 newsletter at least until the contest starts. --
