Greetings warriors! It is I, Zontani Sharp Eyes, here to bring report of the
clash and bustle of the weekly TOBIR games. Former top team F WORDS was unseated
this week as THE DOGHOUSE moved up from 4th ranking to take the top spot with a 3-2-0
record for the round. Warriors--remember that glory waits always around the corner!
Witness how this week THE DOGHOUSE went 3-2-0 to move up 3 in the rankings. In one
of the week's more notable duels, LUG NUT put down FILIBUSTER, causing him to lose 15
points of recognition in the process. Due to his absence and inability to defend the
throne, NORIX has lost the title of Duelmaster. The city has turned out in honor of
ITALIAN STALLION, for with his arena victory he may now lay claim to the highest
position in the city! Heed this! A seer has warned that if exactly 6 die in duels
this week, the whole city shall perish! Just remember...5 or 7!
I have been in deep conclave with my spies who watched all that has recently
transpired. Indeed there is much I would report. TOBIR, city of gladiators! Mighty
among the names of thy guilds is THE DEATH SQUAD, a guild shunned and avoided by many
in the weekly duels. Apparently the stalwarts of ZOMBIE SQUAD are catching the bulk
of jests down at the challenging board for their large share of the avoids. Mighty
fighters cannot but expect competition from those below. FILIBUSTER take warning!
You have more than a few enemies in TOBIR. I can not but mention with disdain the
name of VLAD THE IMPALER who this week posted a challenge to a warrior a full 14
points below in the rankings. I thought VLAD THE IMPALER showed great skill and
promise when he was subdued by DOGGO. All right, so I slept through it! Big deal!
What warrior does not hone his years, impatiently waiting for the moment of his
foe's mortality? Look no more for CRAB MAN in the arena or on the streets of TOBIR.
Its fate was sealed in the Dark Arena. Inevitable for one at 5-12-1. Must the
anguished spirit of HOCK toss forever in the grave unrevenged? Against the code,
FANTASSIN has escaped his deed unpunished by THE DEATH SQUAD! Some say a warrior is
judged by the way he bears arms. One thing is sure, better a dagger in hand then a
sword on the belt!
The girls are as pretty in TOBIR as ever I remembered them....and the fighters
as ugly! Don't let your reputation slip! Ahh, but I can hear the spires of a far

WINTER FACE-TO-FACE IN SUNNY ARIZONA!
Our next winter FTF will be held in Tempe, Arizona, January 13-15, 2012. It will be
held at the Embassy Suites Hotel in Tempe, Arizona (480-897-7444), the same hotel as
last year by popular request. Room rates are $134.00 per night, 1-2 occupancy, which
includes full cooked breakfast, complimentary manager's reception, free airport
shuttle, free parking and free high speed internet. There's a fitness center,
jacuzzi, and pool. The rooms are blocked--please make your reservation by December 15
before the block is released! (This is prime season for Phoenix, and people have been
unable to book rooms because they waited too long.) Look for the tournament info
sheet and minioverviews some time in December. We hope you're all looking forward to
