SPY REPORT
It's me, The Unknown Spymaster, back to give you this week's Spy Report. Sit
back in your seats and we'll have more fun than a barrel of Zontanis. Coming up with
a solid 4-1-0 outing, STARBASE 5 has advanced 3 places in the rankings. And falling
like a basher in the top ten was TREE SHADOW, who dropped 16 points after a
disappointing (to say the least) bout with REVANENT. What does the Duelmaster and
Piltdown Man have in common? They are both the most challenged apes in human
history! Heyheyhey! Drawing on all of his experience as a 18-14-0 warrior, SLAYVER
went for the Duelmastership against CHARISMATIC this week. Well, everybody's pal
CHARISMATIC moved his record to 34-25-0 by defeating SLAYVER in the Duelmaster's
Title Bout and gaining 7 recognition points. Can you believe they are paying me 10
gold to deliver this stuff?
Here is other news that is of note. Did you hear that MEAT MARKET was most
avoided team this week? Well, knowing the personal hygiene of MEAT MARKET's
warriors, I'm not surprised! For those of you who like math, try this one: MEAT
MARKET + Weapons That go Boom = DARK CREATION + Avoid City. Challenging down 16
points was HOMUNCULUS. Pretty soon he'll be using two shields and selling 'T.P.:

subdued HOMUNCULUS to go from 4 to 21 recognition points. In a touching display by a
'touched' warrior, INDEMOS went after PATTERSON PINE, who was higher by 20 points.
Well, when the dust settled, INDEMOS bested PATTERSON PINE. STRADA of STARBASE 5 had
better have a good reason for challenging down 11 points in a challenge which he won.
I thought STRADA showed great skill and promise when he overcame WHIRLAWAY. All
right, so I slept through it! Big deal!
Being a spy is great--other people die and you spend the rest of the day
drinking to their memory. Better tanked than dead! DIE AGAIN defied all odds and
slew SHEWISH GIANT in the Dark Arena. The only ones displeased were the buzzards, as
SHEWISH GIANT's meat is notoriously tough. Knowing when to use the right tactics at
the proper time is a very important step on the road to Duelmaster.
Well, there's the manager of the MALCORN giving me the 'cut' sign (or is that
'They're going to strangle you in the alley?). Okay, so I may not be the world's
best comedian, but then you guys aren't the world's best warriors. And remember, you
can pick your friends and you can pick your--(loud boos), oh, you've heard that one

In response to the Desolate Empire's declaration of war, the Vendetta Cartel offers
the following response:
The members of the Vendetta Cartel can be found in 1, 8, 9, 10, 11, 14, 22, 25, 28,
31, 39, 45, 47, 50, 52, 54, 59, 60, 100, and 106. Stop yapping in the all-arena ads,
pick an arena, issue a challenge, actually win something, and then maybe (and we
stress maybe) you may speak. You may come to our home arenas (8, 31, and 47) and
confront us, but we suggest you learn to win in your own "home" arena (52) first.
