                                      SPY REPORT

Greetings, warriors of MALCORN! Once again I've been called out of retirement
for my abilities and insights into Spyreporting. Biff! Pow! MALCORN watched with
glee as TERMINUS got knocked off top spot by DARK CREATION! What's with SIMULACRUM?
He actually beat MALCORN's VENOMOUS CONCUBINE, and walked away with 15 more points
from the fight. Major screwup at GREENWARDENS. REDTHORN lost 10 points to MARDUK.
Some new strategies, perhaps? Maybe REDTHORN will provide more easy wins... Har har
har! Did QUASIL wimp out, or just get lazy? Anyway, he's not Duelmaster anymore.
I'm sure MALCORN is excited about THE WITCH-KING, the new Duelmaster from THE BLACK
RIDERS. (remember?) But when you've seen as many as I have... Wouldn't it be nice
to have live subjects to practice on? I hear some team is looking into the uses of
convicted prisoners.
If at first you don't succeed, avoid. That'll get you in the Spyreports. How
well I know the feeling of being in the most avoided team! Don't fall out of
practive, TERMINUS! In my day, no team with a 66-43-1 would scare me off! What's
the problem, THE BLACK RIDERS? How well I know the feeling of being the most
challenged warrior, STUMP! Don't make idle boasts, they may come back to haunt you.
There have been some calls to lengthen the time limit. Do you want the fighters
to walk away, or not? Is it my imagination, or are fighters getting younger every
day? To die so young, so gloriously!
Who knows what the future holds for a warrior. More fights, there's no doubt.
All work and no play makes Olaf a dull fighter. Work and play no fighter dull Olaf.
Olaffighterwork and no play. Remember--a good fighter needs both good skills and
good luck. Until next time,-- Olaf Modeen

Varick -- I really, really, REALLY did not need that today. -- Ghost of Thistledown
P.S. Or any other day.

Marduk -- I always did like roast duck. Very tasty, if properly marinated. --
Redthorn

Quasil -- Yes, that covers the way I feel quite well. Perhaps I shouldn't have eaten
half a cheesecake on the morning of fight day? Maybe only a quarter of the
cheesecake. Well, I'm sure you realize that it's actually more of a PIE than a cake.
And maybe the barbecue ribs were a mistake for the entree course. Hmm. I'll have to
think about this question of before-fight meals. I did feel sluggish and "off
color." -- Mossrock

Varpulis Rukh -- If you hadn't kept moving around, the fight would have been much
shorter and less painful for you. It was that last blow I was aiming for, to get you
to kneel to me. Is that too much to ask? -- Wind Rider

Pie Eyed Piper -- Maybe you should get together with Mossrock to work out a proper
before-fight dietary regimen? You could hardly do worse. -- Stump

Avery -- Always glad to oblige. -- Wind Rider

Any and all who live in the 805 area, I would like for you to call me so we can get
together for BBQ's, softball games, and so on. It has been a while since the last
get together (several years). It was a blast and I am sure the next one will be
also. We just have to do it. All alliances are welcome. Just because my warriors
leave your warrior beaten and bloody in defeat does not mean we can't have a beer or
five together. I'll even buy the first round. So call 805-588-3419 and ask for Dave
a.k.a. Misfit, former member of the Green and Purple Polka Dot Alliance (GAPPDA).
