Notes from the arena champ.
Well, I still cannot convince my Goldenrod babe to write a DM column--even a
farewell one. She is an eccentric one, all right. When the Commission provides us
with her faves and final stats, I will publish them. After all, she is going into
retirement. All she has going is a great "knack", a few bonuses, a 21 wit, and a
bear of a personality.
I am looking forward to getting a more pleasant recruit with which to work. I
am thinking of something like a +4 attack, +4 defense, VH/VH lunger. Know what I
mean?
Meanwhile, may all in your lives be golden,
Midas, for that lazy Duelmaster Goldenrod.

The sages err'd not in their foretelling of a god descending upon WILLAF, for I,
Novgorodny Vir, have returned! What's a move up by 4 you ask? (alright, maybe you
didn't ask) Cause for celebration, according to ARENA FELINES. GOLDEN GLADIATORS
had cause to celebrate, after GOLDEN ARCHES got 6 points by beating O PUNCHA. Win
some, lose some. Speaking of which, GOLDEN ARCHES was winsome, after beating O
PUNCHA and seeing him lose 5 points. Duelmaster GOLDENROD from GOLDEN GLADIATORS is
going for the gold, as she challenged ARENA FELINES' FELIX. Ooh, the excitement!
Now I can't insult FELIX, as he has gloriously dueled to the top. Oh great new
Duelmaster!!! (Stop me if I lay it on too thick) So who was the warrior seen
charging into immovable walls and challenging dead trees? Someone's got a basic
problem...
So much to report, so little time! To quell some nasty rumors, the guys in
ARENA FELINES are not carrying any incurable diseases. No need to avoid 'em. The
warriors of ARENA FELINES found their efforts at combat frustrated as GOLDEN
GLADIATORS apparently had more important things to do than fight. If challenges were
horses, FELIX could open up a fast food joint!
The moving sword slashes, and having slashed, moves on... Oh hard! that to
strike a flame, the match itself must needs be wasting!
