DUELMASTER'S COLUMN
Notes from the arena champ.
"You deserve a break today...." and you got it! I am Duelmaster. I think all
Willaf can be proud that they have a good one.
Last week when I was talking to Ray Kroc, he was saying how sound the economy
seemed in our fair city and how having a great gladiator on top was so important. I
enjoy listening to millionaire entrepreneurs talking. One can learn much from the
situation.
You guys probably don't know that in my younger days, I grew up with Ronald
McDonald. Yes indeed. He was my best friend. He was on to great things in this
world, then his girlfriend talked him into getting that nose job, and his life went
all to pot. I miss the real Ronald. I do.
I have some serious practice work to do if I intend to keep this lofty position.
There are some other great warriors here vying for my spot. That is why I pay
particular attention to my intense practices and my diet. I am a firm believer that what you eat is what you are. A typical day for me, for example might be--an Egg
McMuffin for breakfast, a light cheeseburger for lunch, usually with a McFlurry, and
then a serious dinner of a Big Mac and upsized Fries. Does wonders for me. It does.
Got to get a short visit in for Thanksgiving, and take a little time off from
the pain of this lifestyle and the practice. Heading to the entry to the West--and
The Arch in St Louis; home for the holidays, you know.

The sages err'd not in their foretelling of a god descending upon WILLAF, for I,
Novgorodny Vir, have returned! Practice pays for AXE EM BOUT ME!, who pummelled
KHALHUMS DWARF, to pocket 21 points. A certain someone should cut down on the
drinking and practice more, after losing 10 points to POT OF GOLD. (Discrete enough,
XENOPHOBIAC?) SHOCHU found out that WILLAF isn't a democracy. You've gotta be the
best to be Duelmaster here! So who's the team that's been walking into taverns last
week and ordering milk? Sounds like a PR stunt to me.
And how sociable are WILLAF's warriors? Come, let us see. To quell some nasty
rumors, the guys in GOLDEN GLADIATORS are not carrying any incurable diseases. No
need to avoid 'em. The warriors of GOLDEN GLADIATORS found their efforts at combat
frustrated as D.S.M.V. apparently had more important things to do than fight. If
challenges were horses, POT OF GOLD could open up a fast food joint!
Like the wind whispering among the pines, do hearest I many disquieting rumors.
Questions are being raised about the disposing of severed body parts in the arena. A
certain tavern in WILLAF would I avoid!
Do not think spyreporting in WILLAF is the highlight of my life. My fingers
tire and I fear my incessant prattling may cause unfair judgement upon my impeccable
