There are many things I could say, but I am into "short and sweet". Midas asked
me to deliver a message from this forum.
Thank you all, every one of you, for competing in Willaf and making this such a
pleasurable activity. We are glad you are all here. A big "hip, hip" to each and
every one of you.

SPY REPORT
The sages err'd not in their foretelling of a god descending upon WILLAF, for I,
Novgorodny Vir, have returned! The boys at PUNNY AMINALS left the arena dejected,
after being kicked out of the top spot by GOLDEN GLADIATORS. Good show! Good things
come to those who fight well, as ARENA FELINES can attest, moving up by 1. Practice
pays for ANNIE PINKLEY, who pummelled GOLDEN OPPORTUNITY, to pocket 21 points. Win
some, lose some. Speaking of which, KLONDIKE GOLD was winsome, after beating O
PUNCHA and seeing him lose 18 points. Duelmaster POT OF GOLD from GOLDEN GLADIATORS
is going for the gold, as it challenged PUNNY AMINALS' PUNH JENTLY. Ooh, the
excitement! Those who hoped for a new Duelmaster were disappointed by PUNH JENTLY,
of PUNNY AMINALS, who despite a 19-25-0 couldn't overcome WILLAF's Number 1. So who
was the warrior seen charging into immovable walls and challenging dead trees?
Someone's got a basic problem...
So much to report, so little time! Perhaps the warriors of POWER LEGION should
take up some hobbies, as they are the most avoided team... As a woman of good
breeding scorns the "warriors" of GOLDEN GLADIATORS, so did that sorry team shy from
POWER LEGION Is it charming personality? Conversational abilities? Good oral
hygiene? Whatever it is, KNOWLEDGE is the most challenged warrior. Them's the
breaks, KUROHANA. Expecting fair challenges from MUSCLE MEN 3 is evidently too much
to ask. GLUTEOUS MAXIMUS beat KUROHANA. The whole thing leaves a bitter memory.
Like the wind whispering among the pines, do hearest I many disquieting rumors.
Does THE WICKED care so little for their fallen comrade, BACCHUS? KLONDIKE GOLD was
heard at The Welcome Wench sneering... Ask not a spymaster for counsel, for he will
pontificate long after you have fallen into an unconscious stupor.

To those involved, no, I have not abandoned your stories. But I've been letting them
drift, and that has to stop, so I am taking the time to make sure that I know where
they are going, more than just "what happens next" dreamed up on the fly, before
resuming work on them. No new stories will be started until at least one of the old
