Notes from the arena champ.
My name is Golden Bear, but you can call me Jack. I am used to being on top in
life. I like to eat fish. I really like salmon. I like to golf. Drive for show;
putt for dough. I can do both.
You know how it goes. But, no matter what, you go for it all. You win some;
you lose some. I call it "the rub of the green."
Come on out and challenge me. Perhaps you'll make the cut, and even win the
title. The trophies are a little chintzy, but it is the title that counts, don't you
think?
Sure hope Golden Dome did well in the Mailer. Don't know yet, but the whole
team is pulling for him. Go Irish! Top 10 TV, or on to National Champ, a TC.
Actually, it is true that I am an Ohio State grad myself. So I'd better add, Go
Buckeyes! National Champs!

SPY REPORT
Like the magnificent Sun, rising upon the Dawn and exiling the Night for a Day,
I, Novgorodny Vir, return once again! What's a move up by 5 you ask? (alright,
maybe you didn't ask) Cause for celebration, according to PANDORA'S CARDS. Practice
pays for 24 CARAT, who pummelled HUSAM AL DIN, to pocket 25 points. SADIGH FURY
certainly had a baffled expression on his face, after losing to CHAUNCY and losing 9
points in the process! GOLDEN BEAR successfully staved off a grab for the roses by
KUROHANA of YAMABUSHI. Does WILLAF have no one talented enough to dethrone him?
Word has it one team in WILLAF is taking speech lessons to try to bore their opponent
to death. I'll bet it works.
So much to report, so little time! Perhaps the warriors of SHROUD IN MYSTERY
should take up some hobbies, as they are the most avoided team... The warriors of
SHROUD IN MYSTERY found their efforts at combat frustrated as GOLDEN GLADIATORS
apparently had more important things to do than fight. If challenges were horses,
HUSAM AL DIN could open up a fast food joint!
Is there life after death? Pragmatics (and warriors) know there is death after
life! Does NOBLE ON FIRE care so little for their fallen comrade, LIP SERVICE?
SADIGH FURY was heard at The Dripping Blade sneering... Oh hard! that to strike a
flame, the match itself must needs be wasting!
Do not think spyreporting in WILLAF is the highlight of my life. Keep those
sands bloody and the buzzards fat! WILLAF, I leave you now. The Duelmaster has

In accordance with those rules set forth by the Lady of the Realm, I hereby announce
the formation of a small group of managers calling themselves "The Outsiders". The
group consists of the following members:

Ghoti

Valamond
This group has only one rule. Respect the play of the managers of this
alliance. We have no worries about not playing by the rules set forth by others. We
fight the way we like, and all those in this group appreciate what tools each manager
brings. We have managers from the Delarquan, Andorian and Free Blade regions. We
have managers that focus on the tournament arenas, and we have those that focus on
the regular city arenas. We have those in our ranks that fight with honor and
respect for all, and we have those that have a bloodlust that cannot be quenched.
Our goal is simple. To create a ensemble of managers that will show their
prowess in the land of Alastari, and to bring a new level of competition to all those
that share the sands with our warriors. Our warriors are many throughout the land.
We have no home arena. We have no pacts we abide by. Our fighters range from
Mordant to Talcama, from Lapur to Lyratilan, Aruak City to Valamantis, the Primus
arena to Talahya, and many more arenas throughout the land.
Whether we are sought out or ignored makes no difference to us. We are what we
are. We fight how we fight. And we do it however we wish. We have no rules. We
have no leader or ruler. Be prepared. We are.

pretty words mean less than nothing if you won't fight. EVERY Dark Knight is more

The Quest of the Best has come to an end. Dark Knight Toker, host of the Quest,
wants to proclaim the Ultimate Victor and give a listing of prize winners.
Lady Fern and her Flower Girls of the Consortium are the Ultimate Victors of the
Quest. Well fought and there's nothing like coming from behind to leave us all in
