                                      SPY REPORT

Greetings, Warriors of WILLAF. Allow this humble servant Novgorodny Vir to give
you a respite from the fights in the form of this Spyreport. PUNNY AMINALS had cause
to celebrate, after JOHN DERE got 15 points by beating GOLDPLATED. Win some, lose
some. Speaking of which, JOHN DERE was winsome, after beating GOLDPLATED and seeing
it lose 13 points. What can be a greater victory? BILLY JACK has taken his place as
the top, as WILLAF's new Duelmaster. So who's the team that's been walking into
taverns last week and ordering milk? Sounds like a PR stunt to me.
My mother wished me to avoid conflict, and seek the gentle trade of Spyreporter.
But warriors aren't supposed to avoid fights! To quell some nasty rumors, the guys
in MAXIMUM RESULTS are not carrying any incurable diseases. No need to avoid 'em.
As a woman of good breeding scorns the "warriors" of GOLDEN GLADIATORS, so did that
sorry team shy from MAXIMUM RESULTS If challenges were horses, JOHN DERE could open
up a fast food joint!
Like the wind whispering among the pines, do hearest I many disquieting rumors.
Questions are being raised about the disposing of severed body parts in the arena. A
certain tavern in WILLAF would I avoid!
Leave me now, you base fools! As the seasons change, and the creatures of the
wild change also, so do I feel a yearning to leave this place. Like a mixed
metaphor, and an overtaxed simile, I now bid WILLAF farewell-- Novgorodny Vir

Sad Slacks -- We really enjoyed your DM column. It told us everything you know! --
Midas and Te Golden Gladiators
P.S. Congrats, again. What will you do for an encore?

Snake -- Your bite was worse than your bark, and I didn't hear the bark! -- Good As
Gold

Longing Leggings -- That one felt pretty doggone good. I am sorry I ripped your
pants. -- Gold Locket

Anaconda -- I think you have gone and squeezed and squeezed yourself out of breath.
-- Goldplated (rather compact and unsqueezable)

Rypley -- That was a great fight, but the outcome was inevitable, wasn't it? -- Gold
Charm

Khisanth -- Cat got your forked tongue???????????? -- Midas

Gold Charm -- Don't worry about it, woman, your skills are innate. That means you
were born with them and don't need training in their use. -- Horus Mann

Our congratulations to Sad Slacks. Take that sagging face out of here. -- the Punny
Aminals

Gold Charm -- I can hardly believe you did that. You just swished your charms in
front of me and I melted. -- Ripley Byrd

Sad Slacks -- Seems to me that you're manic depressive, and most manic when you're
really depressed. And you're depressed all the time. Glad you're leaving. -- Billy
Jack

Lonely Handmedowns -- You'll never make friends that way. -- Horus Mann

I was disappointed in the Fratsfa Slave. I expected someone tall, blond, chiseled
features, that kind of thing. And what I got was a Karnhorn. Did I say I was
disappointed? That hardly covers it. I *dressed* for a blond opponent, and then
got... swarthy, pockmarked, and ugly. -- John Dere

You think Fratsfans grow on trees around here?

The Cult Member wasn't exciting. In fact, he was boring. What happened to cults
with sinful secrets? What happened to cults with horrid habits? This guy was
*D*U*L*L*. -- Dee Nile

                        WINTER FACE-TO-FACE IN SUNNY ARIZONA!

Our next winter FTF will be held in Tempe, Arizona, January 13-15, 2012. It will be
held at the Embassy Suites Hotel in Tempe, Arizona (480-894-7444), the same hotel as
last year by popular request. Room rates are $134.00 per night, 1-2 occupancy, which
includes full cooked breakfast, complimentary manager's reception, free airport
shuttle, free parking and free high speed internet. There's a fitness center,
jacuzzi, and pool. The rooms are blocked--please make your reservation by December 15
before the block is released! (This is prime season for Phoenix, and people have been
unable to book rooms because they waited too long.) Look for the tournament info
sheet and minioverviews some time in December. We hope you're all looking forward to
it and that we will see you there!
