SPY REPORT
Greetings warriors! It is I, Zontani Sharp Eyes, here to bring report of the
clash and bustle of the weekly TALCAMA games. Former top team SEA DOGS was unseated
this week as CENTER FOR OLDS moved up from 2nd ranking to take the top spot with a
2-3-0 record for the round. Did only my eyes note the 3-1-1 record which SHEPHERDS
managed to post this round? I don't doubt that such a record will draw challengers!
BARNEY caught the eye of many in the gladiatorial commission as he skillfully bested
HELLFIRE and was awarded 13 points in recognition. In one of the week's more notable
duels, CARBONATED MILK put down MEOUSA, causing her to lose 4 points of recognition
in the process. Not for nothing has JAMESON in the past laid claim to the
Duelmaster's throne, and this week he's proven his combat skill yet again. Heed
this! A seer has warned that if exactly 6 die in duels this week, the whole city
shall perish! Just remember...5 or 7!
But come now, let us look deeper into the maze of contention and crossed blades
that is city TALCAMA. TALCAMA, city of gladiators! Mighty among the names of thy
guilds is CENTER FOR OLDS, a guild shunned and avoided by many in the weekly duels.
Apparently the stalwarts of RYAN'S HENCHMEN are catching the bulk of jests down at
the challenging board for their large share of the avoids. For some warriors honor
is not important--only empty victory. See, gladiators, how A'S SPECIAL BLEND of
SHEPHERDS challenged down 18 points to DOC TURTLE. The weight of the challenge fell
hard upon DOC TURTLE and predictably she was defeated by A'S SPECIAL BLEND. This is
how to arouse the anger of an entire guild!
Is not Death a warrior's foremost adviser? Warriors, may this counselor stand
ready at your right hand forever! Fate is a fickle mistress. She showers the
miserable with fortune but sets enemies against the victorious. Remember this!
If it were not for my skills as a spy I would have been mugged three times
