Notes from the arena champ.
So how do I live the way I live? Originally this was going to be a top ten
list, but I was able to quickly put together 11 ways. And by all means, you need not
limit yourself to only a single one of these.
It is not this simple, though. You need to carefully act and dress the part.
If you're supposed to be destitute with nowhere else to go, driving a new car and
wearing new clothes doesn't typically sit well. Being friendly and smiles work well
with most of these. And definitely learn how to cry!
11. Live off the government. There are programs that provide free rent. Some are
more desirable than others (prison gives free room AND board). This is listed
as number 11 because there are limitations that vastly limit one's ability to
qualify for such programs (or in the prison example, limit your ability to do
much of anything).
10. Beg forgiveness. One of the least effective methods, but it will occasionally
give the desired result, especially at the beginning or end of a relationship.
8. Always live with someone else who is actually responsible for the actual
payment. Banks and businessmen are not nearly as forgiving and it is much
easier to evict when everyone must vacate the premises.
7. Occasionally actually pay your rent. The next three ways rely on one of the
basest human desires, greed. If anything is going to preserve your living space
it is actual cash or promise of cash. Anytime you are paying use cash only.
Cash requires additional records be kept.
6. Make partial payments.
5. Promise payment later.
4. Appeal to the human element. Sob stories can touch even the hardest task
master. But keep records of which stories you use with whom. Telling the same
story twice is likely to cause the reverse effect.
3. Pay inconsistently inconsistent. Unless they are keeping records, memory is a
very fickle thing, especially if you keep such a sporadic schedule that their
memory plays tricks on them.
2. Live with a friend. It's possible to lose friends with this technique, but were
they really your friend if they abandon you in your hour of need?
1. Live with your parents. Nobody is more likely to let rent payments slide than
your parents.
There are certainly other things that can vastly increase your chances to be rent
free (little old lady mama, your poor baby), but these are not things you generally
seek out in order to live rent free.

I'm going to give you a spy report!. Hey everybody, watch out for PORK CHOP GOLEM,
who flew up 17 points in the rankings after mashing PAXTON like a melon. Keep your
eye on this guy. Ya know, some days it doesn't pay to walk out on the sands. PAXTON
was overcame by PORK CHOP GOLEM and drops 15 points. Going for the gusto and coming
up with aught but bloody knuckles was THE MAGNIFICENT MAGS' POCKET NEWS, who was
turned away from the Duelmastership by DONT PAY RENT. 4 out of 5 gladiators surveyed
protect the body, so try and avoid aiming at that location.
But enough of that bunch, let's get on to the wimps who like to avoid battle!

acrobats seem to be fairly deft at running from VISIONS V2.
Death is kind of like a new puppy: he's always around wanting to play. (Ha
Zontani, how's that for a wise saying?). Big deal, so KELVIN got mashed in the Dark
Arena. With his face he was more at home with the trolls than with us. (Waka waka).
Knowing when to use the right tactics at the proper time is a very important step on
the road to Duelmaster.
Well, that wasn't too bad; Alarond told me that the people in ZUWAYZA have no
sense of humor. Or maybe that they were senseless. Well, there goes another Spy
