SPY REPORT
Hello, my pretties! The heatwave has finally broken, so I'm sitting on
comfortably on the press box balcony with a cold drink. There is nothing like a nice
breeze as I write this report. We had a very exciting turn, and I can't wait to tell
you all about it.
The exciting action starts with the battle for the throne! Pucker & Bloat has
been sitting comfortably in the big chair for the last few turns. No challenges made
it through to the Duelmaster, so a random match up was going to determine our
champion. Rayner got the call to face the champ and have a shot at glory. He did not
disappoint and was able to defeat Pucker & Bloat in 2 minute fight. Congrats to
Rayner, who is managed by Tolbin.
Darque Knights was the most avoided team. The stalwart warriors at I'm Not
Eggbert avoided them the most. One cannot argue with results as I'm Not Eggbert had a
nice 4-1 turn. It does not look like they matched up with one another in any fights.
The most challenged warrior this turn was Lost Sentinel's Bad Penny. Rocket Badger of
I'm Not Eggbert got his challenge through to Penny. It was bad day for Bad Penny as
she lost again.
Phantom Regiment remains the top team by virtue of a kill. Nipping at their
heels is I'm Not Eggbert, whose aforementioned 4-1-0 turn help them stay steady.
Darque Knights jumped up to 3rd after going 3-2-1, while Thirsty Thugs stayed in 4th.
Lost Sentinels climbed 3 to 5th. Losers and Weirding Ways dropped from the top 5.
Weirding Ways had the biggest drop, falling 5 places. The largest gain was shared by
Darque Knights and Lost Sentinels with each climbing 3 spots.
There were only 2 deaths this turn and both involved arena stand bys. Zushi
fought a Mordant Goon and made short work of him. The other death involved Hahari Hel
and a Virginal Concubine, which sounds like the start of a dirty joke. Unfortunately,
I got nothing! While it wasn't a death, there was a fight that bears mentioning.
Angelique challenged Taboo, who was a mere 17 points below her. These stories mostly
end with the challenger winning, but this one is worth noting because Taboo beat
Angelique!
