SPY REPORT
Hello, my pretties! As always, it is wonderful to see each of your smiling (some
sneering) faces at the Seam arena once again. I love fight day! I know it sound
strange to hear a proper lady admit such a thing, but then again, I wouldn't be a spy
reporter if it were not true. Well, I suppose I could be a career girl and just do a
job that pays well, but I've never had any need for money. Oh well, let's get to my
favorite part, the fights!
Ardbeg took the throne last turn from Stay Puft. He had a nice collection of
capable Challenger Champions below him, so what would he do in defense of his title?
Ardbeg actually received a challenge for the title from Hahari Hel. The two had met
previously in a pair of matches, both of which Hahari Hel won. The bookies were
giving a slight advantage to HH, but as they say, "This is why we have the fights!"
Ardbeg must have learned a thing a two from previous meetings because he squashes
Hahari in a 1 minute fight and it wasn't even close. Ardbeg retains the throne and
even receives an invite to the Isle for all the trouble. Congrats to Ardbeg, who is
managed by DMobster.
Ghosts and goblins! No, that isn't right. Ghosts and gods! Yes, that is better
title for this section. Can you guess why? Deities and Demigods were the most avoided
team for turn 57, and as many of you have already deduced, Phantom Regiment avoided
them the most. Mona Lisa of Lost Sentinels was the most challenged warrior for the
turn. Haig was fortunate enough to get the Commission to accept his challenge of Mona
Lisa instead of the others. Luck was not much of a factor in the fight though as Haig
beat Mona in a quick 1 minute bout.
There were a number of deaths this turn, which as you know if very troubling to
me. Even though some travel guides have our dear arena mislabeled as Delarquan, we
are in fact very much Andorian. I know death is part of these games that I love so
much, but some of you seem to take too much pleasure in them. Well, if that describes
you, you may have enjoyed this turn. Most of the deaths came via the Dark Arena, but
it was still a strange turn of events. It all started when Dhotho Halfgray killed one
of the stand bys, a Happy Peasant. He isn't so happy now. Well, truth be told, he
isn't anything now because he's dead! Then, I'm Not Eggbert lost C. P. Golddigger to
the blade of Ghost from Phantom Regiment. As if this wasn't enough excitement,
Eggbert sends Ali Bubba to the Dark Arena, and Ali slays High Elf. There were 3 other
Dark Arena deaths, but few as exciting as that one!
I'm Not Eggbert, despite the death of C.P. Golddigger, jumps up 4 spots to seize
top team. Deities and Demigods fall to 2nd despite a 3-1 turn. D&D's warrior Bahamut
was inactive once again. Thirsty Thugs make a huge leap into 3rd from 9th, which is
the largest of the turn. The absent Pixelbenders stay at 4th, while Darque Knights
rise to 5th from 8th. The drops to note for turn 57 were Lost Sentinels, who fell 5,
and Phantom Regiment, who had the biggest slip going from 3rd to 9th.
I must be off to conduct a few interviews with warriors and managers before the
arena clears. I hope you have enjoyed turn 57 as much as I have reporting it! I want
to see each of you back next turn for more exciting duel action! Ardbeg is on his way
out of the arena, who will step up to take the throne? Will a victor overthrow the
