SPY REPORT
Greetings, my sweeties! Sidara Brightbell here to deliver your Seam arena report
for turn 58. It was an interesting turn, especially with all of the harsh weather
we've had of late. We move from the unrelenting heatwaves into torrential downpours!
I wish the weather gods were less fickle, but what can we mortals do? Oh yes, we can
pick more stable deities to worship! Remember my darlings, in our pantheistic
society, there are always other divine options! Ha, listen to me prattling on like a
wide-eyed acolyte. Let's move on to the fights!
Lord Protector Ardbeg was destined to leave us this turn. Though he could not
stay and retain the throne, his final fight in Seam would greatly affect the selection
of our next Duelmaster. If Ardbeg wins, our new champion is selected by recognition
score, numbers controlled by the Gladiatorial Commission. If Ardbeg were to lose, the
winner would take over the mantle of Duelmaster. So, what was it going to be? Ardbeg
faced the formidable Bananas Gorilla in his final fight. It took 4 minutes for a
victor to emerge, and . . . Bananas Gorilla is our new Duelmaster. A double congrats
are in order as Bananas received an invitation to the Isle of the Eye in recognition
of his feats in Seam. Bananas Gorilla is managed by Huckle Cat.
There is very little to report by way of death this turn. Two warriors died, and
both were offered to the Dark Arena. Ali Bubba emerged victorious from the Dark Arena
last cycle, but his luck evaporated this turn as he our very own Arenamaster Vyandyl.
Since there is not much to address by way of death, I will note once again this is an
Andorian arena, and actions such as those taken by Weirding Ways are typically frowned
upon. Weirding Ways had a nice 4-1-0 this cycle, but it doesn't shine as bright when
you realize 4 of his challenges were down . . . way down. Managers are free to fight
as they wish in the arenas, but one is sure to make enemies in the Andorian arenas
with such tactics.
The most avoided team for the turn was Deities and Demigods. They were avoided
most by Weirding Ways. The irony of this is not lost on this spy reporter. The most
challenged warrior was Ra-Ra Rainwar; however, no one was able to get a challenge
through to Ra-Ra. She challenged the much higher ranked Merciless. Ra-Ra Rainwar
lost the fight, but still gained 4 points and contributed to Darque Knights arena best
41 point gain for turn 58. Weirding Ways took over the top team spot, jumping up 5
places, while Deities and Demigods remained at 2. Darque Knights take over 3rd place
from Thirsty Thugs, who fell to 5th. Marvel slips into 4th from 8th. The former
number 1, I'm Not Eggbert, falls to 7th and has the biggest slide of the turn.
Pixelbenders are still missing and will be removed from the score sheets if absent
again next turn. Someone send Mixelplick a postcard!
I must be off, my sweets! It has been fun as always. I will look forward to
next turn as Bananas Gorilla bids us farewell and we crown a new Duelmaster. Will it
