SPY REPORT
Hello, my pretties! I know many of you are still reeling from your time at the
Grand Tournament of the Dead, but the fights must still go on! We do not have much
involvement with the tournaments here in Seam any longer. And by not much
involvement, I really mean "any" involvement. I know many of the managers still
participate, but for the warriors of this arena, it is a no-no!
Opacity: 100% has sat proudly on the throne of Seam for multiple turns now. His
reign has been impressive, but he has a number of competitors below him that are dying
for a shot at glory. Who would be the lucky Challenger Champion that would face
Opacity this turn? Dhotho Halfgray, the youngest of the CCs in terms of experience,
got the call for turn 62. It was an epic battle, one that saw Dhotho take home the
turn's most popular warrior award. It was also a long fight, lasting 11 minutes.
When the dust had settled, Opacity was still the Duelmaster. Congrats to him for once
again successfully defending the title.
The most avoided team for the turn was Lost Sentinels. They were avoided the
most by Losers. I told you earlier that our Duelmaster was surrounded by true
competitors in the Challenger Champions, and I meant it! Opacity, our Duelmaster, was
the most challenged warrior for the turn. It is good to see such a hunger for glory
from Seam's top class of gladiators! In less competitive news, we have the down
challenges. This is becoming a regular occurrence in Seam, which is quite shameful
since we are an Andorian arena. Weirding Ways down challenged twice, but was only
able to win 1 of them.
Sadly, one of those aforementioned down challenges resulted in a death. Parental
Deceit killed Killian in 10 point mismatch. I guess we will now see if Deadline is
paying attention to the arena. All indicators are pointing to them being apathetic at
best about the squad in this arena. The other death was a Dark Arena death, as Hombre
cleared Thor off of his roster. There has not been too many deaths in the last few
turns, which is good for this spy reporter's heart. As such though, there isn't much
to report in this department.
Weirding Ways remains the top team with an 11-4-1 record. Pixelbenders and
Phantom Regiment change positions for the 2 and 3 spots. Deities and Demigods move up
1 to 4th place, while Losers jump from 9th up 4 spots to round out the top 5 teams.
I'm Not Eggbert was inactive once again. Has Eggbert forgotten about his crew?
Darque Knights continue their less than stellar performance, following up their 0-5
from last turn with a 1-4 effort this turn, tying with Marvel for the biggest slip for
turn 62.
Many people have asked me if I truly enjoy this season with the Dead Tournament.
They ask this because I am a witch. The truth is, I'm not much for necromancy.
Alteration is more my schtick. Why bring it back to life when you can just make it
pretty? To each their own, I suppose. I hope to see each of you back next turn.
Opacity is going for his 4th consecutive turn on the throne! You read that right,
4th! Can he hold on against a competitive group of Challenge Champions? How many
