SPY REPORT
Hello, my pretties! A beautiful, crisp day here in Seam and a great time for our
wonderful gladiatorial games. I adore such weather, almost as much as I adore each of
you that take part in the festivities in our dear arena. I hope this turn finds you
well, at least well at the beginning of the arena events. I know moods can shift
rather quickly depending upon how one's team fares on the sands. So, let's talk about
all those important events and see how everyone did on turn 63.
The scenery hasn't changed much on the throne the last few turns. Considering
his fighting style, scenery is a good descriptor for our Duelmaster Opacity: 100%.
Coming into turn 63, Opacity has sat comfortable on our fair throne for 3 turns. This
puts him 2nd for both consecutive turns as Duelmaster and total turns as Duelmaster.
Both of those records are held by Smokehead of Thirsty Thugs, who held the throne a
total of 10 times, 6 of those consecutively. Opacity met with Casper from Phantom
Regiment on the sands this turn. It was a long fight at 16 minutes, but Opacity: 100%
stand once again as our Duelmaster. Congrats again, Champion!
The most avoided team for the turn is Lost Sentinels. And it looks like Darque
Knights are the avoiders. I am not aware of much history between those two teams, so
I have little to offer in commentary. Considering Darque Knights' record of late,
they should perhaps avoid more teams. The most challenged warrior for the turn is NO
ONE! There were challenges, but no one received more than anyone else. I guess the
managers just wanted to share the love with as many as they could for the cycle.
Congrats to a former Duelmaster, Stay Puft, who received an invite for the Isle of the
Eye. Stay Puft reigned for 2 turns on the throne of Seam, and leaves us after a win
over Dhotho Halfgray.
Weirding ways remains the top team by virtue of a kill at 10-5-1. Phantom
Regiment is hot on their sandals at 10-5-0. The Regiment traded places with
Pixelbenders who fell down to 3rd. Marvel jumped up 5 spots to take over 4th place,
while Lost Sentinels rounds out the top 5. Marvel's 5 place gain was the biggest for
the turn after going 4-1-0. Going 0-5-0, Losers fell by 4 to take the distinction of
biggest slip on turn 63.
There were 5 deaths this turn, but 4 of them took place in the Dark Arena.
Darque Knights sent Zuk Goatwall to the night fights with a less-than-stellar record,
so no one was surprised by the move. Losers sent 3 to the Dark Arena, which gives a
reasonable explanation to their 0-5 effort. The only death to occur on the regular
sands happened in a random match up between Banshee and Mdjai. The Lost Sentinels'
warrior had the advantage in experience, but Mdjai was not going to let her
opportunity slip by and killed Banshee is a one-sided, 1 minute fight. Condolences to
Lost Sentinels and good luck with your upcoming feud, if you choose to pursue
vengeance.
Time for me to depart, my darlings. It was a pleasure, as always, to be with you
here. The evening meal is fast approaching, and I have been invited to a dinner party
hosted by the Regent's Council. I'm sure they wish to discuss some new project in the
city and how a large donation will help them see their vision come to life. Perhaps I
will go as a spy reporter tonight, and not as a Lady. This will certainly give me
more time to dine and less time to be pointlessly flattered to loosen my purse
