SPY REPORT
You might want to break out the umbrellas or magic spells to keep dry today, but
it has been a wet one in Seam! Greetings and welcome to one of the most beautiful
cities in the League! I am your spy reporter, Huard DePriest, and I am here to share
with you all the news that is worth knowing for turn 81. Sidara is out traveling, but
she thought it would be a nice treat for me to report on turn 81 since I'm the regular
reporter for arena 81. I see what she did there . . . Let's get to the action, shall
we?
Bahamut is leaving us after this turn, so we are assured to have a new Duelmaster
at the close of ceremonies today. As for our departing champion, Bahamut faced off
against Piwi Steelmoon, a match we also saw last turn. The outcome was the same as
Lord Protector Bahamut overpowered Piwi. Best of luck to Bahamut if he continues
training on the Isle of the Eye. With our departing Duelmaster victorious, we must
resort to recognition points to find our new champion of Seam! The title merely
passed between teammates as Hastur from Deities and Demigods defeats Thor of Marvel to
secure the title. The Deities and Demigods stable is managed by Deep Thought.
The most avoided team for the turn is Losers, and they were most avoided by
Weirding Ways. The most challenged warrior is the 13-12-3 Deval of Deadline. He was
bloodfeuded by Parental Deceit of Weirding Ways. Last turn, Parental Deceit walked
away victorious, but there are reasons we hold these games every 2 weeks. Deval
smashed Parental Deceit this turn, and is now the top ranked Basher in the arena.
There was only 1 death in the arena this turn, so I will mention it here. Poor Asher
has fought his last, and Bagherra is the culprit. Condolences to Savant and his Losers
guild, and good luck to Lost Sentinels in the turns to come if Losers decide to
bloodfeud!
Welcome back to Phantom Regiment, who returned with a nice 4-1-0 effort.
Weirding Ways remains the top team over the last 3 turns with an 11-4-1 record.
Darque Knights move into 2nd after I'm Not Eggbert failed to fight. Thirsty Thugs and
Deities and Demigods switched places with the Thugs taking over 4th and the divine
beings slipping to 5th. Marvel moved up 3 places to 6th, which was the turn's largest
gain. Losers' 3 spot skid into 11th was the turn's biggest slump.
Time for me to go and invest in large boats! The rains continue to pour down
from the heavens! If one of you louts has angered the gods and we are being punished
for it, ya better fess up now! If we have to come find you, it will not end well.

Algernon looked at the goats and sighed. No doubt it was a Good Deed to give
goats to people who wanted them. But why did the goats have to be gathered in HIS
office? Four of them, and they were a lot like gladiators: not smelly maybe, they
were clean goats, but pushy and sure they were the most important thing around. Maybe
they should be enrolled in the arena? No, there were only four, not enough for a
team.
He shook his head to clear it of the image of armored goats with sharpened horns.
One thing at a time. He pulled a piece of paper out of his desk drawer, dipped his
pen in the ink, and began to write.
