Notes from the arena champ.
Well, now this is certainly interesting. I thought I could take on Hastur and it
seems I was right. So here I sit on the throne. All would be good except for the
untimely repassing of Carrion Call. The rest of the team enjoyed wins, but that one
loss puts a damper on things, even my title. Pollux must be dealt with. It wasn't a
challenge but there did seem to be some intent. I am left with an interesting choice.
I should be able to beat Pollux. Style and FE would both seem to give me a big edge.
And so I will do my duty for the team. Pollux, the bloodfeud is coming your way. If
I win there will be another interesting choice. I could, according to the rules,
simply pick on Pollux for 4 turns and punch my ticket to the Isle. While this is
allowed and given the death is not unwarranted I don't see it as very sporting or
worthy. And so I suspect it shall be a one-and-done sort of affair, win or lose. But
what comes after will also depend on how the Lynxear responds to the death. If he is
respectful of the now doubly-dead then the bloodfeuds will stop. If not, we shall
see.
As for the arena -- it seems to be a good play to ply my trade. My teammates and I
recently passed the century mark in wins, always a good sign of durability, although
only two Phantoms (Stay Puft and Casper) have been durable enough to graduate so far.
And we do seem to have the best spy reporter going, which is great.

SPY REPORT
Hello, my darlings! So good to see you once again in Seam. We have had a very
exciting turn! There were fewer fights than the last turn, but that does not account
for all the drama and action we witnessed on the sands! Let's jump right into the
report because I can hardly hold in all the excitement!
I have enjoyed mixing it up a bit, so we'll continue that trend in this report as
well. I must say, I have been a spy reporter many years, and I have never seen a turn
quite like the one Lost Sentinels had this turn. Most consider a 3-2-0 a good turn
and anything above just incrementally makes it better. How do you classify a 4-1-3
turn? You read that correctly! Each of you know that I do not advocate death, but I
can still be impressed by you guys and your barbarism. Wow, what a turn! And to
think, I was prepared to talk about how great Marvel's 4-1-0 turn 85 was in Seam.
I'll get back to Marvel a bit later in the report.
Thanks to Dwimorberg for addressing the crowds. It looks as if his well-crafted
plan did not come to fruition. We will have to see how he reacts to Pollux's own
address in the personal ads as well as all the other blood feuds and problems they can
cause throughout the arena. With Dwimorberg's feud against Pollux being put on hold
for at least another turn, our Duelmaster found himself match up against Thor of
Marvel. The style match up had many people writing it off as a boring fight, but this
is why we have the games! You never know who is going to be victorious, and Thor is
our newest Duelmaster. Congrats to Hombre and his Marvel guild.
The most avoided team for the turn is the absent I'm Not Eggbert. This is not
the first time they have been most avoided and have been absent. Weirding Ways
avoided them the most. The most challenge warrior for turn 85 is Zushi. Zushi killed
Asdiel Wyrmeye on turn 84, and Pollux was the one sent to collect. This appears to
have shocked Piwi Steelmoon, who believed herself to be the best candidate for
feuding. Is this going to create some problems in the guild house? Anyway, back to
Zushi's fight. Zushi is feuded by Pollux, but it wasn't even close as Zushi is
victorious!
So, we already know there were many deaths this turn. There were 6 deaths to be
exact, and Lost Sentinels were responsible for half of them. A tough mama goes down
to Scythe on the sands, which is the only regular death that does not involve Lost
Sentinels. Darque Knights and Thirsty Thugs sent warriors to the Dark Arena to add
two more to the tally. Now, for the Lost Sentinels bloodbath! Bagheera executes the
previously undefeated Nguleo Dusk. Then, Void kills Enigma and this match is quickly
followed by his teammate Juno slaying Drop Dead Fred. Okay, maybe the Drop Dead Fred
death was poetic, I'll give you that! Your name holds great power, my darlings!

Okay, time for me to vamoose, my sweets! We are breaking in a new spy reporter
over in Telorinthe and I've been tasked with babysitting. She is young, so I am
hopeful that she wishes to learn and isn't a bull-head oaf like Huard over in
Shadowspire. We shall see! Come back next time for turn 86. With all the deaths and
