SPY REPORT
Hello, my darlings! The festivals are in full swing all around Alastari and it
is a glorious time! Everyone has their own reasons for celebrating, so I will leave
it at that. I personally enjoy the winter solstice from a few days past, and the
increased flows of magical energies. I am a witch after all. May your festivals be
merry, bright, blessed, cursed, or whatever your desire. I'll turn our attention to
the arena now.
We were destined to have a new Duelmaster this turn. You did not need to consort
with a diviner to be privy to this information! Graveborn Paladin is off to the Isle
after fighting this turn, so a replacement was imminent. In his final fight, GP
challenged Farmer Alfalfa. Our humble farmer seized his opportunity and defeated Lord
Protector Graveborn Paladin in a quick 1-minute fight! Congrats to Farmer Alfalfa,
who is managed by Huckle Cat. He will have the glorious opportunity of defending his
new crown against a rowdy bunch of Challenger Champions next turn!
The most avoided team, Weirding Ways, was most avoided by I'm Not Eggbert.
Eggbert, or Not Eggbert, has been inactive the last few turns, but jumps right back
into his role of avoiding Weirdo's squad. The most challenged warrior for turn 92 is
Chelsea Dagger. Sadly for all those who posted a challenge to her, she was sent to
the Dark Arena by her manager. No one is shocked by the outcome! Chelsea died in the
torchlight against Spymaster. It was not a close fight!
There were 5 deaths this turn, but only 1 of them happened on the regular sands.
Other than the aforementioned Chelsea Dagger, the others were rookies sent by their
respective teams. The regular death occurred when Sir William of Oakleaf (what a
catchy moniker) challenged Yellow Snowman. There will be debates to Sir William's
bravery or perhaps his sanity with such a challenge. I will leave that to the arena
analysts, and just report that dying seems to support it was a bad challenge.
We have a completely reworked top 5 in the arena this turn. Darque Knights take
over the top spot from Phantom Regiment, who fell to 3rd. I just noticed they traded
places with one another. Weirding Ways had the biggest gains in the arena moving from
9th to 2nd. Oakleaf jumped to 4th from the 8th position, and Thirsty Thugs rose 1
place to close out the top 5. Losers had the largest drop in the rankings, dropping 4
into the 6th spot.
Time to go, my sweets! Join us next time to see if Farmer Alfalfa can keep the
title. A quick shout out to Nutbolt Larry of I'm Not Eggbert! He will be going to
the Isle of the Eye after fighting next turn. Congrats to him on this achievement! I

P.S. To Weirdo: I just read Huard's words over in the DM 81 report. He rarely
knows what he is talking about, so ignore him. I do not hate or despise anyone.
True, there are some I like more than others, but hate is such a strong word and I do
not have time for it. As to your observation, our reports probably read similar to you
because we both follow Yellow Press information guidelines. Phineas, our editor-in-
chief, wants us to talk about the Duelmaster, the avoids, most challenged warrior, as
well as death and graduations. He gives us some leeway, but not much!

Our next winter FTF will be held in Tempe, Arizona, January 18-20, 2019. It will be
