SPY REPORT
Hello, my darlings! Great to have you back in New Seam for the fights once
again. I have been traveling and instructing budding wizards and witches this week.
The towers and covens are often hidden from non-magic users, but can be found
throughout the length and breadth of Alastari and various other parts of Ghea. It is
always refreshing to address a new crop of students. You see the fire in their young
eyes and an eagerness to learn! It isn't much different than the arena. The rookies
enter with high hopes, but hopes do not turn them into veterans of the arena! Like
the magical arts, it takes practice and diligence. So swords and shields up, young
ones!
Our Duelmaster from the last turn, Rasterize, was absent this turn! It seems
like a waste to me to fight your way to the throne, only to lose it by inactivity!
But, I also know things happen that can distract us for the arena. With Pixelbenders'
absence, we needed to crown a new champion. The title match came down to the bout
between Jason the Mason (16-18-0) and Pestilence (13-13-1). Sadly, it did not end
well for Jason, who died. The aptly named Pestilence brought death to the arena,
specifically to the former arena veteran, Jason of the Mason of Huckle's Cats.
Condolences and Congrats are in order for our Title fight! Condolences to Huckle Cat
and his crew for losing Jason. Congrats to Savant and his Losers for taking the
throne.
Wow, there were 3 deaths in the arena this turn. None of them, and I repeat,
none of them were in the Dark Arena. We have already mentioned the late Jason the
Mason. Next, Chef Lobster posted a challenge against Xapha Ironjaw and much like
Jason's fight, it did not end well for one of the contestants. Chef Lobster passed on
into the great beyond in a one minute fight. I'm Not Eggbert has asked that in lieu
of flowers, please send butter instead. Last, but certainly not the least, The Great
Tricktini fought his final fight against Juno of Lost Sentinels. Yes, you have read
that correctly! The I'm Not Eggbert guild lost 2 warriors this turn! Condolences to
the One Who Is Probably Not Eggbert!
Nomad and his Phantom Regiment remain the top team with a 10-5-1 record. Losers
moved up the ranks by 4 spots to take over 2nd place. Thirsty Thugs had the largest
gain of the turn and jumped from 9th to 3rd. Closing out the top 5, we have Huckle's
Cats coming in at 4th and 80's Fantasy is in 5th. I'm Not Eggbert had the biggest
drop, moving from 3rd to 7th. Weirding Ways have disappeared from the team rankings
due to inactivity, but they were the most avoided team. I'm Not Eggbert avoided them
the most.
Time for me to go, my sweets! I want to say congrats to Gyaviira who left us for
the Isle after fighting this turn. Also, Farmer Alfalfa got his invitation this turn.
He is a multi-turn Duelmaster, so it is well deserved! Congrats to our newest Lord
Protectors! I will see you all next turn! I hope Pixelbenders and Weirding Ways will

We have planned our summer FTF for July 19-21, 2019, in Tampa, Florida. It will be
held at the Embassy Suites Tampa Airport Westshore. Room rates are $125 per night,
1-2 occupancy. There's free wireless throughout the property as well as a fitness
center, outdoor pool, and business center, as well as a resturant and bar inside the
hotel. They have the usual Embassy Suites amenities we know and love: complimetary
cooked-to-order breakfast and evening reception, plus there's a free airport shuttle
