SPY REPORT
Hello, my darling! Great to see each of you again in and around Seam's arena. I am
sorry if I was a bit short with some of you today. I have rushed into the arena to
file my report and then I will be rushing back out once again. A village, one close
to Seam, has had a plague break out and I have been working with the healers to help
the people and possibly find the source. So, without further adieu, let's take a look
at this turn's action!
Rasterize is leaving us after the fights today or after the tavern tonight, I'm never
sure! Before leaving, he did have one more chance to defend the throne. The fight is
of importance because if our Duelmaster loses, we crown a new Champion. Actually, if
our Duelmaster wins, we still crown a new champion. Rasterize was not idle in his
final turn. He challenged Pestilence and overcame him in a 1-minute duel. So, now we
move onto the next fight that will determine our newest Duelmaster. Castor Lynxear
matched up with Dearly Departed. Dearly Departed slew Castor in a 1-minute fight and
finished with the highest recognition points for the turn. Dearly Departed is our new
champion! Congrats to DD, who is managed by Nomad.
The top 5 did not have a lot of movement with our top two teams staying in their
respective spots -- Thirsty Thugs and 80s Fantasy. Oakleaf jumped from 6th place to
3rd after a 4-1-0 turn. Pixelbenders had a nice 4-1-0 effort that moved them into 4th
place. Huckle's Cats continues to top of the top 5. I'm Not Eggbert's 4 rank jump is
the biggest of the turn. Despite taking the throne, Phantom Regiment slipped 6 spots
from 3rd to 9th. This was the turn's largest drop.
There were only 2 deaths this turn, but one was a biggie. Tough Mama fell to the
blade of Craggy Matterhorn. I'm Not Eggbert's new warrior certainly made an
impression with their debut fight in Seam. The big death occurred when arena veteran,
Castor Lynxear, died in a random match up with our new Duelmaster, Dearly Departed. I
tried to reach Pollux Lynxear, the deceased's brother, but he was unavailable for
comment according to his teammates. I will keep an eye on this story as it develops!
Time for me to go, my sweets! I'm heading back to the outskirts of Seam. We have
gotten the ailment under control for now, but we cannot let our guard down just yet!
Stay away from the village, and for gods' sakes, wash your hands! I will see you next
turn in Seam! Invite a friend to watch the fights, or better yet, recruit a manager or
three to join us on the sands!
