SPY REPORT
Welcome back, my darlings, to Seam! Here we have the most beautiful city in the clan
holds! If you doubt me, come take the tour with me. I'll get you into one of the posh
bathhouses and we can sip mineral waters while we get pampered and enjoy the view. If
you aren't into such things, I guess I can also take you to the arena! We had the
games today, and they were glorious! Sit back and let me tell you all about them!
Ramirez entered the games as our Duelmaster. He is the champion and the gladiator
everyone was eyeing coming into today's competition. There were a few Challenger
Champions that could have made a claim for the throne, but none of that seemed to work
out. Our title match became a random match up between Ramirez and Mr. Grunkle. From
the arena guides, it looked to be a near-even match up with a slight advantage to
Ramirez based upon performance the last few turns. Well, folks, this is why we have
the game because arena guides aren't really that useful! Mr. Grunkle is our new
Duelmaster after a quick, one-sided fight! Congrats to Mr. Grunkle, who is managed by
Huckle Cat.
It was not a particularly deadly turn, but there were a few deaths on the sands and of
course in the Dark Arena. Zula decided to take his last fight in Seam to the night
hours and challenged the Dark Arena. He showed his skill in slaughtering Swine Golem.
Does this mean there will be bacon later? What is the best cut of a Swine Golem?
Also this turn, I'm Not Eggbert bids farewell to Might Wind Maker. He was cut down
after receiving a challenge from Twofeet D'grave. This makes 2 deaths in 2 turns for
the I'm Not Eggbert guild. They just avenged Cpt. Seacrud's death, so we expect we
will see them try to feud on MWM behalf!
The most avoided team for the turn is Darque Knights. They were mostly avoided by I'm
Not Eggbert. Mr Read-a-Lot continues to be the most challenged warrior, a distinction
he has held more than once. I am going to go out on a limb and assume he is popular
because of his 3-17-0 win-loss record. Easy marks for you boys and girls? How
fitting! Mr. Read-a-Lot was challenged and beaten by Mack Markson of Big Lake Names.
A gutsy challenge, but a welcome result for Mack Markson.
Phantom Regiment is still the top team with a 10-4-1 record. Oakleaf also remains in
the same position from the last run at number 2. Big Lake Names make a big jump from
8th place to take over 3rd. At 8-2-3, they are in position to win top team next turn!
80s Fantasy and Huckle's Cat move up one place each to finish off the top 5. The
largest drop for the turn belongs to Box in the Attic who went from 4th to 7th. It
isn't a huge shift, but in a smaller arena like Seam, every spot counts!
Time for me to go, my sweets! Come back next turn and see if Mr. Grunkle can hold
onto the throne and possibly even received an invite tot he Isle of the Eye. The
Challenger Champion selections are limited this time, but Meg and Cloudzilla can take
