SPY REPORT
Welcome back to New Seam, my darlings. The days are long and excruciatingly hot with
a tinge of humidity! Bah, who am I kidding the humidity is off the charts and we are
early into this hot season! Luckily, our fair city sports a number of cool natural
springs where one can go and relax! I will be finding a suitable one when today's
festivities are concluded. So, as I dream about the cool waters, let's work our way
through today's fights and all the big news from the sands!
Some of you will remember the last cycle we hit a milestone. We did not have a
Duelmaster for the first time in 130 turns! It was truly momentous, but now that the
novelty has worn off, we need someone to slip into the big chair. Today's title fight
was going to be decided by recognition points. Our two top contenders last week were
Twofeet D'Grave and Muck. Twofeet was challenged by Melanroh and lost in a 3-minute
bout. Muck was challenged by Xapha Ironjaw and lost in a quick 1-minute contest. So,
with our two top-ranked warriors out from last turn, we look to what will become our
actual title fight between Torquil and Viktoria. It is going to end really well for
one of these warriors and VERY BADLY for the other. You can probably guess that the
good news is for Torquil since he is our new Duelmaster. Sadly, he killed Viktoria
during their fight, so we will not get to see a rematch.
Viktoria was not the only death this turn. You ladies and gents turned quite deadly
without notice! Firehand Orcs lost Skarface to Huckle Cat's crew. We can also report
that Chipp Kidd from Pixelbenders has fought his last match in New Seam. Darque
Knights sent the lone warrior to the Dark Arena for turn 131. There was a single
blood feud as well, but The Ogre Troll was not able to overcome Oblivion and avenge
his fallen comrade.
Vendetta has taken over the top team spot, but the top 5 teams remain relatively
intact. Pixelbenders slipped out of the top 5 into 8th place, while the former 1st
place squad is now 3rd. 80s Fantasy holds tightly to the 2nd spot as do Thirsty Thugs
to the 4th position. Thirsty Thugs were the most avoided team today, and it looks as
if Oakleaf avoided them the most. The most challenged warrior was Muck, and we have
already noted that Xapha challenged and beat him.
Time for me to depart and find that cool spring! This may be the fastest I have ever
written and delivered a spy report. The waters are that tempting right now! I will
see you next turn, and we can discover together whether Torquil has what it takes to
keep the throne. There are a number of worthy Challenger Champions below him, but
Oakleaf has priority blood feud challenges if they choose to exercise them! I can't
wait to see what happens! I will see you next time, my sweets!
